Why Are Nigerians Blaming The Fulanis? by EVarn(m): 5:06pm On Jul 17, 2019
Once again, recent events in Nigeria has proven that when a people become ignorant or deliberately suppress the lessons of history, history will revenge by repeating itself.

Most will agree that 1966 was a mistake, but this is 2019,and we are about to make the same mistake. Does it mean that there are no longer kidnappers, bandits and killers in the south?, if no,then why do we now hastily ascribe every recent killings in Nigeria to Fulanis?. This toxic posture of sounding "mahuru mahuru" against a particular minority ethnic group, namely the Fulanis, has become a national pastime for not only the opposition, but also the ignoramuses and political dunderheads that makes up a bulk of the populace.

Nigerians have allowed themselves become puppets in the hands of desperate politicians and propagandists, all due to misplaced paranoia. We have always been an emotional country, but I think it is time to discard brash emotions and don the armour of logic. What we are doing to the Fulanis is reminiscent of what the Federalists allegedly did to the Easterners in 1966(or at least, what the Easterners claim was done to them). We should not segregate a section of our populace and label them criminals because of the activities of a few.

Bola Tinubu captured the situation in his eloquently crafted rhetorical question, "where are the cows?". In the same vein, I will like to ask Nigerians, where are the cows?.

We may not be able to differentiate between fulanis from Cameroun, Niger republic, Mali, Chad ati bebelo but that not withstanding, a fulani man irespective of his ancestral land, is not that difficult to discern.

Wherever more than one are gathered, there is bound to be traitor ie Kain against Abel. My friend, for trying to manipulate and repaint recent events, you're a shameless human (not surprising).

1. Did you just call Fulani's "minority"? Really, a group that controls over 98% of the country's security apparatus. A group that controls over 80% of the North's and over 40% of Nigeria's traditional institutions. A group that has ruled the country more than all other groups combined. You call them a minority? How much do they pay you perpetual slaves to sabotage your own land?

2. You said every crime you listed are now suddenly ascribed to Fulanis really?
So, the armed robbers, baby factories, ritualists, thugs, drug pushers that are always in the news, show me any news that claimed any of them that were actually from the south, but falsely claimed to be Fulani? If they are Igbo, we will say, they are Igbo. If Yoruba, e wil say they are Yoruba. We even insult eacother with it. Nobody is that gullible. We all know that there are criminals of all sorts everywhere, but fact is fact, the level of crimes and mass killings committed by Fulanis are clearly more than all others put together. It is so annoying considering that they are not even from Nigeria. The crazies among them that claim Nigeria and are now ruling are not even originally from Nigeria. They usurped the religiously gullible Hausas, and have been trying to continue their killing match. Their audacity and entitlement to other groups assets and deliberate mass killings and direct takeover/replacement of different cultures (especially in the middle belt) are all evident. What else do you need? Go to Ghana, Burkina Faso, Guinea, etc, the story is the same, or you think they are also making it up?
I know people like you will beat Judas to his famous game, but have a little bit of shame will you?

The igbos will always find someone else to blame, it's not easy to lose 3.5 million weak kinsmen in a battle. They are forever going to be scarred. Weak tribe with weak ideology

The OP is till in doubt, I pray it does not get to your door step before you believe . When you take the statements of their kinsmen and spokespersons into account then you won't have doubt anymore.
