HMD Global has been trying hard to regain the lost trust in users with Nokia’s revival in the smartphone industry. But the relatively high prices of the mobile phones kept Nokia from recapturing its old glory.
Nokia 2.2 is the latest offering from HMD global. It is an affordable smartphone that has a balance between features, user experience, and cost. The latest device packs a normal size display with an elegant waterdrop notch and a decent removable 3,000mAh battery. On top of that Nokia 2.2 ships the stock version of Android Pie out of the box. As per the company reports, it is said that it will soon receive the upcoming Android Q version.
As I talk about the features, Nokia 2.2 arrives with a 5.71-inches HD+ touchscreen display which supports a waterdrop notch. Under the hood, Nokia 2.2 gets a quad-core MediaTek Helio A22 processor, which is pretty decent for performing tasks. Nokia 2.2 comes in two RAM variants of 2GB and 3GB followed by 16GB and 32GB internal storage. The storage comes with the option to expanded memory up to 400GB via a microSD card.
In the camera department, Nokia 2.2 is packed with a 13MP rear camera with an f/2.2 aperture and a pixel size of 1.12-micron and comes with the autofocus. On the front, there is a 5MP camera to capture decent selfies. The only thing missing in this device is a fingerprint sensor. But with the face unlock option user authentication won’t be a problem anymore. The Nokia 2.2 draws its power from a removable 3,000mAh battery which gives enough power to run it throughout the day.

Nicely reviewed.... Stock android in the budget segment is pretty rear... I think Helio A22 is a decent performer and the removable battery option is also a nice feature.

Well, we can have something just for a change and that's nostalgic we have a removable battery. Using this phone with Helio A22 is quite impressive and that's not necessary to have everything in the budget we have. I think whatever Nokia is offering is like everything in the presented budget!!!

considering the retail price N31,500, I think you are right, moreover at that price it is better than the likes Hot7, spark 3 etc.
