As shared by Facebook user N M Laiyee Badeggi, he lamented on the current condition of 4 years old road linking Bida and Katcha Local Government Area of Niger State that has been destroyed by heavy rainfall on Friday 19th July, 2019.
Daya daga cikin sherin PDP.
Pls when we have a quality constructions.... In 10 years, did it deserve maintenance
I could vividly remember Badeggi/Bakeko/Yinti/tsadoyagi/katcha road was commissioning in 2014, just 5 years ago. Under the able leadership of the former Chief servant of Niger state. Dr Muazu Babangida Aliyu (Talban Minna).
He took Sukuk bond of N1.8 billion naira for the construction of the 30 klmt road.
Alas check out the situation of the road after just 5 yrs ago.
With this kind of rubbish sub-standards projects, PDP feels they have numbers of projects ahead the seating government.
The project which is awarded to a company. including shoulder & drainage... & been constructed without shoulder & drainage.... How would it last?
PDP scam
Anyway.... Whoever have a hand in this scam.... Will stand b4 Allah in the day of restrictions, & paid for what he/she as make innocent masses go through for the cut of Badeggi/Bakeko/Yinti/Tsadoyagi/katcha road.
@ this juncture.... I called on Niger state government, under the able leadership of governor Abubakar Sani Bello. We the entire people of Katcha local government area. request for ur quick action for the maintenance of the road.
Lastly.... I pray..... May Allah save Nigeria from Nigerians.
Ameen summan Ameen

this is an indication that adequte road desing was not carried out considering both hydrological and geotechinal requirements before construction...

Our mumu governments sometimes just wake up and construct roads...

Every Tom,Dick and Harry is now an Engineer!
Most of them called Engineers do not have first degree or school certificate.
A mason with time will become a builder and then illegally elevated to an Engineer.
It cuts across Electrical, Mechanical and less of Civil Engineering.
Road construction should be the duty of a qualified Civil Engineer or any related field.

The poster was more interested in berating a government that left power 5 years ago than lamenting about the depressing sight and danger of almajiris seen in those pictures.
Those almajiris are a big challenge and looming danger all Northern governors should frontally confront, but no,they are more interested in looting,Islamizing them only and maintaining the status quo,and in the case of the Op here, castigating a governor that left office 5 years ago.

Re: Road Linking Bida To Katcha LGA Of Niger State Destroyed By Heavy Rain by Nobody: 9:27am On Jul 20, 2019
I doubt his claim abt 1.8bn whatever. The road then was said to be constructed by the PDP rep member representing that constituency. He did not win and the APC guy that won did not have that road as a priority neither did the state gov. Anyone who knows the road knows the kind of job done there.

The one op is referring to is probably Agaie-Katcha road which is still under construction after all these years

Does Niger state have Almajiris? I doubt it. It's concentrated in states of the Northwest and North East. Even Adamawa Fulani population don't practice it.
