PrecisionFx: Statements like the emboldened will always provoke any serious and focus govt/leader to impose proposed policy on people like you, most esp if such is genuine and coherent. The only excuse for your adamance is just that foreigners will take your land but will not cease the fact that u will eat cow today and your people will make profit out of it today, regardless of where you come from. Mind you, those guys (the ones that are Nigerians sha) have the right to do legitimate business in ANY part of the country, even in your father's house if they have good business terms with him, u can ask any lawyer that is sound around you. |

Boyooosa: Herdsman, let the north bring those kids out of the Bush n give them RUGA. |

Boyooosa: Herdsman. Do u think we are stupid like Taraba, Benue, n Jos people u have cleansed from their land and replaced dem with Fulani from other countries? We are far too smart for u. Yes i will eat cow today in the afternoon, I usually cook rice with it and my people will make profits from it as well, same way u Fulani people will also buy other goods we import, eat it today and sell it and make profits. It's no big deal. Fulani can do legitimate business inside my father's house, I welcome that, but they have to rent my land for it just like i rent land in the north to do business, FG won't use state funds to provide my land for Fulani Herdsmen, that is an abomination. Fulani should acquire land just like every other tribe in nigeria. 1 Like |

PrecisionFx: sounds funny when u call me herdsman. I'm not a herdsman professionally, I'm an accountant but I love humans. #stopHateTrend. Don't be eager to start war. Google the numbers of your people that died the last time, they started this way but u can introduce a dofference. |

Boyooosa: their past record indicates that they forcefully enter people's farmland, destroy the farm produce, rape and kill the owners. sometimes they just enter houses to massacre owners and flee back into the bushes. how do you expect anyone to accommodate people with such brutal view of others' lives? 2 Likes |

Boyooosa: Your good points are noteworthy. Nevertheless you insensitively ignored or undermined the reasons behind the widespread repugnance of RUGA. It is common widespread knowledge that the uncultured normads have interacted very poorly and badly with their host communities wherever they go. Their pompous incivility has escalated conflicts wherever they go. They trespass and violate and plunder properties of accommodating indigenes with reckless impunity as they go. For all these, you expect them to be welcomed? You must be sick to think so. If these herdsmen had a track record of peaceful coexistence with their host communities, the RUGA concept on a national scale would not have been so obnoxious. Are you going to hurt a child and same time grudge him for crying out? It takes insanity for anyone to do so! Under the present circumstance of widespread disaffection between herders and host communities therefore, the RUGA idea , laudable as it is, should , sensibly, be restricted initially to the core northern Nigeria. As hostilities fade off, there would naturally be expansion of scope. 2 Likes |

PrecisionFx: I appreciate the fact that u understand my points very well but addressing me as a herdsman is a point of concern to me. Anyway, thank God you realise that all Nigerians own nigeria and that is also supposed to be affirmes without boundaries in as much there is no trespass. Now two options; 1, govt should establish a well coordinated ranching system or 2, they should create an enabling environment or serene atmosphere for the herdsman to do their legitimate business. But sad, that your people detest any of the given and valid options. The reason we are still having this issues. |

PrecisionFx:they dominate in adamawa to name a few... Adamawa is even a Fulani word form the name Adama, an old ruler ... Where are your facts that fulanis haven't been around since hundred of years... Dan fodio that came into the region around more than 200 years ago was not even the first Fulani in the region because they were fulanis already in the mandara and Sahel region which is now Nigeria... You are too aggressive, I am not fighting with you. Also you must not have a dominating number in a state before you belong to Nigeria.. Margi, Bura, mitchika etc are minorities in places like Borno but they are still Nigerians... What is exactly your point? 1 Like |

Boyooosa: Herdsman, government should not use state funds to provide land, water n structures for a private business for a tribe in nigeria. If any Herdsman wants a ranch, they should meet the villages n discuss with them and then most importantly pay for land or rent land like every other Nigerians 2 Likes |
Re: Governor Ganduje: Abolish Herdsmen Movement From North To South by Nobody: 11:07am On Jul 20, 2019 |
mvem: Fulani do not dominate Adamawa state, there are more than 30 tribes in Adamawa n Fulani is just one of them. In Enugu state n in the entire SE, only IGBOS exist there. Ur Dan folio came to adamawa only 200 years ago, IGBOS have been in the east for thousands of years. This simply shows Fulani are visitors here |

jlinkd78: The worst of nairalanders are people like you that after reading the content you still don't understand anything....He wants to establish RUGA in Kano which he's constitutionally and morally right to do. How does that affect your wellbeing? He went further to say Fulanis should stop moving to the south since such movement is creating chaos in the country. The south can reject Fulanis but the north cannot because Fulanis are northerners and a lot of them are indigene of Kano state. TELL ME, WHAT EXACTLY IS YOUR PROBLEM? 1 Like |

PrecisionFx:i say Fulani dominate in Adamawa... Have you stayed in the core north before?... The other tribes like Hong in adamawa are minorities....read my post well, I said Dan fodio wasn't the first Fulani In the region, they have been fulanis around before him... So you igbos that claim to be jews should also see yourself as Israelites not Nigerians from your assertion |

It seems you lack the basics of comprehension,if not what will make you think I'm jealous of a killer herdsmen wandering about that swell only their masters' pocket but they themselves wallop in abject poverty? I am only jealous of peace and justice. Gandollar is only playing mr nice and trying to reinforce the rejected ruga game which he intend to deceive the insane minds. |

mvem: Fulani share adamawa state with many tribes like Bali and Bachama, they both have high population n not minority. Fulani are from futon Jalon n only came to Nigeria to fight Hausa people to collect their land. Ur cup is FooOOOool, the South will never allow u and that RUGA here |

shineeye1: Odisweet: Good that we realise that there is psychological problem with those guys already. It is only an animal will kill at will, rape at will and destroy at will. No right thinking person will do that, that I believe we all agree here. I concur with the reasoning that says we can start from the north or anywhere the policy is welcomed, then with time be extended to other parts. Quite unfortunate that slot can not be mentioned here but my simple definition for RUGA should be a coordinated ranching system established by the government, the term 'coordinated' should be capable of sacking every other fear associated if it is really genuine. 2 Likes |

[b]This settlement is a must and to us in Kano state, it’s a task that must be done, because we must improve the quality of lives of the herdsmen so that they become full Nigerians and behave like any other good Nigerian So from his statement, they know that the Fulani herders are not Nigerians. So y trying to make them Nigerians? Don't they have a country they came from? Divided we live longer, together we die on time.. 1 Like |

PrecisionFx:lol...i have told you the truth about Adamawa but you are free to believe what you want too....what marvels me is probably you haven't even passed Abuja and you claim to have good knowledge of the North....Fulanis have coexisted with the Hausas for hundred of years and intermarrying with a fusion of their cultures....and you are too sentimental, did I mention anything about RUGA... I was trying to highlight the wrong insinuation you have about fulanis not being Nigerians... Whatever floats your boat |

PrecisionFx: I now understand you are so engrossed amd keen of the business aspect of it than the survival of even the subjects involved, human lives. Things you need to know in that regards as follow: Number 1, you need to stop seeing the legal Nigerian Fulani's as foreigners. Number 2, govt has the right to create an enabling environment for any business to thrive in the land. 3, govt can promote group or individual business of it's citizen 4, govt has right to partner with groups or individuals to achieve a business goal and promote the national economy through same. So, now tell me the one that RUGA has trampled among all these... |
Re: Governor Ganduje: Abolish Herdsmen Movement From North To South by shineeye1: 11:32am On Jul 20, 2019 |
Boyooosa: I would have commended your compromise but I am deeply concerned that you even considered hoisting RUGA in the first instance, on grieving communities without due apologies and reparations. That is insult upon injury - to say the least! And by the way, any genuine RUGA should have windows for all tribes, if state funds are to be applied. 1 Like |
Re: Governor Ganduje: Abolish Herdsmen Movement From North To South by Boyooosa(m): 11:48am On Jul 20, 2019 |
shineeye1: I want to believe that cow or cattje rearing has been an open business to every interested person and I don't think it has been limited or restricted to a particular tribe or region. Its only that it is easily associated with and popular among a people, the Fulani's. And I don't think it is in-scripted in any part of this newly proposed policy, RUGA that it's only the herdsman in the bush or Fulani people will be entitled to the benefits therein. If that is clear , then we can go further to state that, if we have the conviction that an approach or policy is credible to sort economic issue of a citizenry and as well born peace within same society, I am of the opinion that such policy is worthy of giving a try. Me I'm just always concerned of motives and implementation, the reason I always admit the points of view of constructive critics and not imaginary antagonists. |
