And why should Ndidi be there? at least Algeria VS Nigeria alone shows you Geudiora and Bernacer deserve their spot, they completely rattled Ndidi and Etebo in the first half. Etebo came up in the second half after Algeria reduced their pressing and Gueye was arguably Senegal best player in the concluded AFCON.

People complaining about Ndidi and Etebo absence in the best 11 only watched Nigeria matches. All the Algeria Midfielder deserve to be included and Gueye was very outstanding for Senegal. They didn't even include Feghouli and Bellaili and they deserve to be there more than Ndidi and Etebo.

Ighalo is only there due to his goals, the Algeria number 9 deserve to be there just for his work rate and pressing alone, he could have scored a couple of goals but not lucky but he created a lot of space for his team mates to score the goals. Ighalo doesn't do that, a striker shouldn't be lazy. But we are grateful he managed to convert his chances this time.

2nd goal - great positioning and instictinve of siblings with a bit of luck

Ighalo is not serious. How could he retire from super eagles at that young age. He retired when he scored many goals for Nigeria, but he didn't retire when he played rubbish in the world cup

A thousand likes for this. Truly, that Algeria's No.9 dude "Bounedjah" is a true striker. He was unlucky not to score much and also miss a penalty spot kick but his contribution upfront was topnotch.
Always a threat when he's with the ball, and you can count on him to make something meaningful unlike Ighalo who was just like 0.5 above average.

I think Leicester or Everton should sign that dude and see good return of investment.
