For the purpose of trying to breath in fresh air into the African educational sector, Didier Drogba through the funds raised through his DD Foundation have collaborated with the university of Birmingham to help sponsor some African students to study any course of their choice which include Undergraduate, Masters and PhD programs in UK..

In 2016, the Didier Drogba  Foundation was founded with the aim of providing financial and material support in both health and education to people in Africa.

In the course of this program, any lucky African will get an opportunity to be assisted financially or sponsored to complete his studies with the help in some of DD foundation expenses. Although you can choose your School, University, or technical school to pursue your studies but majorly in the university of Birmingham, UK.

Qualification Prerequisite:
Eligible Countries: Strictly for Africans
Acceptable Course or Subjects: They can join an undergraduate, postgraduate or any PhD program at any university in the UK (Birmingham University)
Admissible Criteria: Must be between the ages of 18-30 year old student who is going to pursue his studies for the entire 2019-2020 year.
Application Procedure:

In order to apply for this merit scholarship, a candidate must enroll in an undergraduate or graduate, vocational, and technical studies at a college or university. After that, you can complete your application for the award through the application portal.


Supporting Documents: You can be asked to submit some documents for your application in a college, university, or technical school.
Admission Requirements: Should have a minimum grade point average (GPA) of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale or the equivalent.

Benefits: If you selected as a recipient, the participant will receive free flight ticket and visa.

Note: Applicants are asked to complete the Didier Drogba Foundation Scholarship Application Form, which will be reviewed by the different schools and all successful applicants will be selected and messaged via email.
