Daboomb: Sorry, I do not buy your rantings. You're already blaming one group on a protest march for causalities. The Shi'ites have repeatedly said they are not armed and are only peacefully protesting. The start of the clash in Abuja yesterday was when police intercepted their march and wanted to disperse them. I don't see people who are marching in protest with their turbaned clerics, women, children and elderly shooting at police and killing a reporter. This doesn't make sense. It doesn't sound logically. What happened yesterday shows us a police force that used disproportionate, irresponsible and inconsiderate amount of firepower. I won't be surprised if the DCP and the reporter were both killed by stray bullets from the police. And the sad thing is that there are no investigations to determine that. Just rumors flying up and down. |

madridsta007: What Igbo hate? What Igbo hate? You better blame your Jonathan for being a corrupt, incompetent buffoon who found himself in power and couldn't make good use of it. Blame him for people picking Buhari over him. Don't you dare put this on any Igbo hate. YORUBAS DO NOT HATE THE IGBOS JONATHAN WAS INCOMPETENT. And did not try his best. Simple. Except if you want to remain blind to reason. 2 Likes 1 Share |

yesloaded: You talk too much. Did Channels TV tell you he was handling the coverage as a lead? Or setting up field equipment? There are observer levels and intern levels in such fields. Where do you want them to do the observation or understudying? By the way all Corps members should be life-insured and the families handsomely compensated in fatal outcomes like this. |

ourema:Hmmm. With all the other numbers. Why do we feel this secure cos it has not happened to someone we can relate with? Insecurity to one is insecurity to all. Injustice to one is as well injustice to all. Let's all call on this government to stop this and respect the court injunction at worst go to appeal court and give the guy incarcerated a fair hearing.. We are all Nigerians we deserve fair hearing at least. Because they are the govt they shd not be flagrantly disobedient to extant laws of our land |

As I wish the dead to rest in peace, I want to state the obvious: let the Nigerian NYSC insist on not sending the corp members to dangerous work areas. |
