I see nothing wrong with the video. For those who don't know, Mode9 regularly uploads his videos on youtube so fans can get access to even the minutest details. This video is just one of many, and his fans appreciate it. Even the stuff about staying in hotel in London is not boasting (who would boast about Holiday Inn?). Its just in keeping with his all-access style that he gives his fans? Why would Mode9 who grew up in London be boasting about going to London.

My only advice is just to ignore the haters rather than give them time of day cos its only gonna escalate if you pay haters any attention.
