Before this unfortunate administration came into power, they said subsidy was a PDP fraud but I'm amazed to read that they too continued in the fraud by paying this amount of subsidy. SMH

Furthermore, the report revealed that the amount recorded as subsidy by the NNPC in January and February 2019 alone, was more than the amount spent on the same item from July 2018 to November 2018, which stood at N206.3 billion.

I rest my case. No hope for Nigeria
Nigeria's fantastically corrupt leaders even shocks the devil.

This is outright fraud. You paid N40b during December when price of crude was $59 and during the election month of January and February you paid N104b and N102b respectively when the price of crude was $57 ....Are you kidding me

And we say we are fighting corruption or those associated with Dasuki for using public funds to do elections. What kind of hypocrisy is this?? and everyone is keeping quiet

This is incredible and even worse so that most people do not understand the glaring fraud and hypocrisy highlighted above. This government as a result of this, does not have the moral right to arrest anyone for corruption or talk about anyone being corrupt

I am in such disbelief. Especially a government that campaigned so much against corruption and subsidy

The fact these band of fellows carpeted and insulted Jonathan when he tried to end subsidy in Nigeria makes it the more worrisome. Jonathan deserves an apology from all of us

How do u now want them to scam us if they remove d subsidy?

There is no possibility of the scam if we buy petrol directly according to the available price in the international market

but buhari said fuel will reduce. why hasn't it been reduced yet?

When contacted on the issue, Group General Manager, Group Public Affairs Division of the NNPC, Mr. Ndu Ughamadu, explained that the prices of crude oil had been rising in the international market, and when that happens, it normally affects prices of petroleum products, and by extension, the landing cost.

Subtly telling us that if crude oil increases in price, then we should expect an increase in Pms... While zombies are attacking Goodluck Jonathan on $140 per barrel, let's see how their night king Bubu, will handle the economy if crude oil price hits $140.

Let them remove it so that all these ignorant noise makers will feel the full force of every tiny change in fuel procurement costs. SMH.

These people talking won't even have MB to post anything because Nigeria runs on generators. Businesses will tell all of you 'welcome to reality'.

Nigerians always groan when someone gets paid but they never consider what would have happened if those persons never got paid.

How will they remove subsidy when they use it as a means to loot billions of dollars. You should know the mindset of Nigerian politicians by now. They haven't changed since 1960.
Jonathan tried to remove subsidy in 2012 but all of us including me castigated Jonathan occupied ojota for protest haaaa may God forgive us without knowing Jonathan had a good intention then. But buhari said subsidy was a fraud in 2014 now the same buhari continue paying subsidy it will never well for those people still supporting this government
