The Anambra governorship election petitions tribunal has relocated its sittings from Awka to Ilorin in Kwara.

Mr Surajo Gusau, Secretary of the tribunal, disclosed this when he spoke with the News Agency of Nigeria in Awka via telephone on Tuesday.

Gusau said that the movement took place on Dec. 17 saying that the tribunal had already settled down in Ilorin.

He, however, did not disclose the reasons for the relocation, saying it was based an administrative directive.

Gusau said that the tribunal was handling 12 cases apart from the one filed by Accord Party which was withdrawn on December 9.

The tribunal was set up to handle petitions arising from the Anambra governorship poll, won by Prof. Chukwuma Soludo of the All Progressives Grand Alliance.

This is why Nigeria is where it is today, where some people will sit in sokoto and deciding who will be governor of ekiti against the will of the people and we will say the country is one united country that should continue like this...

Their wish is never to see South East rise and develop. They think they can play another uzodimma in Anambra state to scuttle the development in the state.

South East should work hard for themselves instead of expecting any favors from the Federal. Igbos should not hope for anything beneficial from the second niger bridge if at all the project will be finished in the next ten to fifteen years to be more realistic.

The bridge will be of more benefits to the asaba axis to be specific. If you think the war is over then you must be living in fools paradise.
