President Muhammadu Buhari opened his second day of defence on Wednesday before the Presidential Election Petition Court (PEPC) by calling a senior official of the West African Examination Council (INEC) as his first witness of the day.

The official, Oshindeinde Henry Adewunmi, who is now in the witness box, said he is the Deputy Registrar Charge of School Examination in Nigeria.

The petitioners – Atiku Abubakar and the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) – are challenging Buhari’s election at the last presidential election on among other grounds, qualification.

The petitioners are claiming the President did not have a school certificate for him to be qualified to run for election.

He confirmed the copy of the University of Cambridge school certificate tendered by Buhari on Tuesday was what he certified.

The witness, who said he has been with WAEC for 30 years, confirmed that by the result, Buhari sat for eight subjects and scored five credits.

He gave details as English C5, History C3, Geography C6, Hausa C5, Health Science C6.

The witness said a person with such certificate cannot be said not to have attended secondary school.

Don’t presume that some of us here suffer foolishness and buffoonery as you ostensibly do. In the year Buhari sat his examinations, allegedly gaining the qualification, candidates were graded in numbers (1-9), not alphabetically (A-F). Besides, given the fact that Buhari claims to be fighting corruption, the most honourable thing for him to do is simply to officially write UCLES, which administered exams at that time, and ask them to publicly publish his results on their website. As with a non full disclosure in Nov 2018 [https://www.cambridgeassessment.org.uk/news/statement-in-response-to-nigerian-presidential-election-enquiries/], UCLES, could have provided full information, and unlike the useless and untrustworthy WAEC, UCLES is able to provide a valid copy of Buhari’s results which no one would doubt. Few years ago, Trump alleged Obama wasn’t born in the USA, to exonerate himself, Obama brought out his BC. Buhari’s school certificate may have been misplaced. However, UCLES has the record and upon request, the results can be reissued. Buhari isn’t just a fraud, he’s a terrorist.


Buhari who foolishly claim before the world press in the 21st century that his wife’s place (and by implication women’s place) is in the bedroom and kitchen isn’t brilliant than most of Nigerian youths he recklessly declared lazy. If Buhari was born a millennial, he would have become an almanjiri. The school certificate results he claims to hold would not qualify him for admission into any university to study anything meaningful. Mark you, in the 1960s when he enrolled in the army, you simply needed to have gone through secondary education, passing wasn’t a prerequisite. Rascals who didn’t particularly do well academically were recommended by their headmasters to join the army. Adisa publicly declared this, and we know those who left school with bad results, join the army, became generals but over time improved themselves, reseat their school cert, sat jamb and enrolled on university courses. Gowan went on to gain BA, MA PHD from Warwick. Diya went on to study law, etc, etc. Buhari, simply put, is a FRAUD.

How stupid are these people, are these the kind of people that want to run a country? Can these people not read the constitution? It says educated to a minimum secondary school. 1) it says nothing about having a certificate and 2) anybody who has completed an officers course is educated to a minimum secondary school level.

WAEC certificate is NOT even mentioned in the Constitution. You only the evidence of been educated upto School certificate or IT'S EQUIVALENTS!


Honestly, I don't know how the Youths of this Country think that someone who served meritoriously in the Nigerian Army and rose to the rank of a Major General, attended the Nigerian Military training College (now NDA), Mons Officers cadet Training College, Aldershot in UK(which Ojukwu, Obasanjo , Danjuma also attended), Defence Services Staff College, Wellington, India and the United States Army War College is an illiterate without any education upto School certificate level!
