There are many alternatives, the challenge has just been to either get the alternatives here or the shipping weight issue if one decides to buy/ship via air freight. Mobil 1 even though is a good oil is just the brand name.

Once a product meets manufacturers specification and it has good reviews, I proceed with the purchase. I'm really not a brand freak but only after the contents.

When it arrives, let me know.

Yes, i am very much aware of exceeding manufacturers specification but the main point is that IT MUST MEET the specification and not below and secondly, positive reviews.

There are some brands that are not popular but their quality is same if not better than the popular brands in the market but many still wouldn't wanna patronise because they are so fixated to a particular brand. what happens if that same brand they love isn't available tomorrow, won't they patronise alternatives?
