Once again, thanks to Social Media And may God reward her new benefactor.

Pretty sure her parents will put such donation into use as directed by the first lady and succuor ultimately brought to the little child.

Lawwali said that the closest school to their home was practically in a shambles, explaining that his daughter might not be able to cope academically in such environment which makes him feel it is necessary to choose an enabling enrolment for her to study.

The appropriate assistance would have been to fix that school in their immediate environ, so that other children like her would stop trekking 2km to school everyday, and those who are presenting attending the dilapidated school would have a better quality of education.

Good gesture to the first lady but more needs to be done - if the school is on Zanfara, she should pls get a mini bus for the school to convey pupils from distance places and also thesame should also be extended to additional schools selected randomly for people to feel the impact of the government-since she can't be the only one in the state going to school in distance places-God bless

Oh come on, what's the big deal about trekking 2kms to school everyday? That was nothing to me back then in primary sch. Although, for me it was a matter of choice. I've always been "spartan".

Watched a documentary on kids who ran about 8kms to school everyday in Ethiopia{due to the school being somewhere way outside their village} and I was impressed... That's discipline. That's how they get so fit over there.


Besides, I am sure that the Facebook sensation is not the only kid in that state trekking that distance to school every bloody day. So, my question to the wife of the governor would be: are you gonna get a bike for every one of them?

If they really wanna curtail this, then the state government should set about setting up a proper form of transportation for the schoolkids that actually works... I'm talking school buses or something, people.

You can also deploy school buses if the road is good enough. A very rugged type of school bus.

This is just the highest height of being stingy and wicked. I don't want to be tribalistic here, from Delta to east, or even in the west, when someone trend on internet like that, her own don beta. Hausa leaders are just wicked.

If u understand the north very well, they live in settlements. They hardly live in isolation.
They are probably farmers. They live together, then u have stretches of farmlands, then another settlement
So the school in her area is bad and she is trekking to one that has good school
