The management of Pro-Vision Media Systems Limited (“Pro-Vision”) wishes to inform the general public that the company did not partake in and was not responsible for the open display by semi-nude women on a public road in Lekki, Lagos on Saturday 3rd August, 2019 as reported in the social media.

Although the truck with vehicle registration number APP 713 XL which conveyed the semi-nude women is registered in the name of Pro-Vision, the company had sold the said truck since October, 2018 and transferred both ownership and possession of the truck to the buyer who represented that the truck was to be used for haulage. Documentary evidence of this will be made available to the relevant authorities. Furthermore, as at the date of the sale, the truck was in a state of disrepair and without a valid advertisement permit.

Pro-Vision condemns this unacceptable conduct in the strongest terms and shall co-operate with relevant agencies of the government as may be required. Furthermore, we, as a responsible company, intend to and shall pursue legal redress (to a logical conclusion) for the damage done to our name and reputation by this act of the buyer.

Finally, we wish to reassure our esteemed customers and the general public that Pro-Vision is a responsible and reputable outdoor media organisation which embraces the highest standards and ethics of the advertising profession and will not engage in any activity which is contrary to the law, rules and regulation and public policy.
