Light situation here good. Can be better.

Seems like it though all major street around me get light each time i passed but my street transformer got spoilt, the thing don reach like 3mnths now las las Eedc came and move the transformer away dnt know how long till they return it.

The only truthful post on this topic.... Jist like forever, electricity in Naija depends on your location.
Here in warri and it's environs itvis terrible, even the so called industrial line(33KVA) is nose diving.

1. Hydro power dams have full water and produce power at maximum capacity. So generally, power generation is typically higher and more stable this period.

2. Because it's the peak of rainy season, temperatures are bearable, not too hot. So many people use ACs less this period, and that means significantly less demand for power. Less demand for power means less stress on the power systems and that results in more stable power.

Generally, power supply is best in Nigeria between August and October.

During this rainy season, power supply along the Airport road has been horrible and erratic

I know of areas that have such power supply, my stand is not about improvement or otherwise.
I've experienced above 48hrs in a village in Ogun state before around 2016, yet same place might not have light for a week. I've also seen a light of above 72hrs around 2008 in another town.
At àgbàdo command area in Lagos, they have steady light that is always above double digits (10-17hrs) daily.

Lafia and minna, North central Nigeria usually experience 3-6 hours daily that's if all things are normal.

Me i enjoy almost 24hrs o. I stay in Agbara area of Lagos.

On a typical day here in Akure, (I stay in Ijoka area) 3 pm-5pm and then 11pm to 3am and we congratulate them. I may say BEDC is the worst DISCO in Nigeria
