Great!!

Not everyone will want and can live in the US...just as not everyone will want and can live in the UK.

As the saying goes "one man's meat is another man's poison" cheesy

No Country on Earth practices "free HealthCare" someone or something is paying very heavy for it either through taxes(indirect payment) or through out of pocket( direct payment of insurance). Any healthcare that is free(without it being funded for) needs serious questioning because it must be that most people getting such healthcare is being provided the bare minimum level of care. undecided

Now about the gun laws in the US...admit it has been experiencing some very weak loop-holes that bad and crazy people are using to cause serious harm to innocent people. It can't and will not remain that way forever...I am very optimistic about that. The sane and caring Americans( which runs in millions) value human lives to the max...however the sick and angry Americans care less about human lives...or even their own lives that's why in most cases you see them get killed by themselves or by law officers .

Now Trump at most can ONLY be President of the US for 8 years...and his chances of getting elected for another 4 years seems to be getting thinner by the day.

The US will be very Alright. No Country can do without the US even with all its flaws. cheesy

Of course you are joking.

American influence around the world is slipping away rapidly and it will soon be replaced by China.

Iran can bring down your drone and America can’t even put out a sensible statement.

The only weapon you have now is miserably tariff that hardly work.

Your senate can’t even checkmate out of control president, subpoena disregarded, republicans are scared to even speak against the lying president etc

In terms of geopolitical alliances and influence, this cannot be further from the truth. On a global context, America is a country unto itself. There is no other country in the world that has to think about global implications whenever it acts. For example, Trumps trade wars are looking like the begining of a global recession. No other countries actions, not even China can produce a global recession. America's actions towards Iran are measured, not because Iran can do it any direct harm, but because of the potential difficulty it represents to the rest of the world. A third of the worlds oil demand passes through the straits of Hormuz. America can easily bomb Iran back to the stone age but guess who will suffer. India, China, Saudi Arabia, Europe etc. Russia and Iran are allies. If Russia cuts off gas supplies to Western Europe (Including the UK), people will freeze to death. And Russia is a NATO adversary. In fact, NATO exists becasue of Russia which is no direct threat to the U.S., but to the rest of Europe. However, no America, no NATO.

In terms of which continent is better to live, it all depends on perspective. I have lived on both and think there are pros and cons for one and the other. Anecdotal evidence suggests that if you first live on one, your preferences will lie there. They are quite different from a cultural perspective and if you get immersed in one culture, it becomes more difficult to adjust to the other.

Yes and that will affect America too something Trump and his supporters are clueless about, they believed that China alone is paying for the tariff forgetting that Americans are also paying the price including farmers.

The global recession issue is not because of the trade war alone, the protest in HK, Brexit and Indian/Pakistan kashmir issue are all contributing factors.

If China and Russia succeeded in persuading the rest of the international community to drop dollar as the international currency then America will be reduced to just ordinary country.

The days of invading countries are over considering the price America paid for wars in Iraq, Afghanistan and Libya

China expanding globally was as a result of all the greedy US politicians and some business men that over the years decided to use the Chinese people for cheap labour to manufactured their US products for US consumers.

And now that has backfired.

Trump getting elected was as a results of the rebellion against Obama and what he stood for.

I typed out a long epistle on this but unfortunately it got lost in my attemopt to post. Short version is this:
The dollar remains the global currency of note not just by fiat or by choice, but by a reputation built over the years and prevailing curcustance. First, the largest market for most global traders is the U.S. and therefore the big players like China have to hold large amounts of USD. Second, US treasuries are considered the safest investment vehicle in the world. In fact, their rates are called the risk free rate. No other country can match this reputation at present. Third, most countries hold their reserves in USD because the value of the dollar is supported by the relative strength of the US economy as opposed to a country like China that manipulates its currency values. No sensible country will tie its currency to a manipulated currency. One third of the worlds GDP is from countries that peg their currency to the USD. Another 89 countries keep their currency in a tight trading range relative to the dollar. In the forex market, 90 percent of transactions invlove the dollar. This is all happening because the U.S. has built up a reputation over many many years. In Russia itself, a significant amount of transactios are conducted in USD. For Russia and China to change this, they will need to create a viable alternative which means they will need to demonstrate the following: transparency, egalitarianism, open mindedness, equity, impartiality and the list goes on. We all know this is not happening.

As for China being an economic power, its all tied to the U.S. A recession in the U.S. will almost always result in one in China and not vice versa. China is beholden to the America.

..and US is owing China how much? Yes a whopping $1.11 trillion!!

All you listed above are all fighting talk as you know that things can change with time, China is building their reputation around the world by investing in other countries, giving out cheap loans, getting involved in a big capital projects in many countries the same way America did years ago so as to influence domestic policies.

American influence and domination around the world will keep diminishing year by year and if you don't know this then you are living in another planet.

In absolute terms, 1.11 trillion is a whopping number. Relative to the U.S. economy, it is not significant. It is not in China's interest to call in their debt because it will actually result in hurting their own economy (and this is why they havent done so).

Things indeed can change over time but will things actually change? China is trying to build their reputation, but are they actually convincing anyone of note? Apart from Russia, which other countries of note in their region are aligned with China? Which other countries will eventually buy into their overtures? Absolutely none in my opinion. Countries are begining to see through their shady pratices. China is investing and giving out loans, but guess what? When these loans default, what is China doing? They are seizing assets. They kick you when you're down. America did the opposite, they forgave loans. They gave out grants. They provided free healthcare, access to technology and education. China is not really winning over the hearts of the people like America did. America helped build up nations and created regional powers that now stand with it. China is on a resource grab to make itself great like the European powers did during colonial times. Very big difference

Being of African descent, it really pains me to say that African countries are not really of note and are only being used as pawns in the grand scheme of geoplitical policitcs. We will take money/assistance/help from whomever offers, including the devil himself! We were hoodwinked by the colonials in the first go around, now the Chinese are hoodwinking us with their false gifts. Africa is only paid any atention because it has recently become a breeding ground for terrorists and because the West doesn't want the dark continent to spread any new diseases to the world. The rest of the world will stop exploiting us and take us seriously when we stop doing so to ourselves. If Africans are wise, they will look to countries that helped them when they didnt really have to. Where were the Chinese when Rwanda blew up (outside of selling arms)? Who took in refugees from Somalia? Who has been fighting aids in Africa?

Many said the same thing about Trump being elected but today America has become a laughing stock each time he speaks.

If you are older than 10yrs old(this is not an insult) then you should know that nothing is impossible.

America started gradually until they become world power and other countries will one day do the same.

It takes a very long time to build but a shorter time to destroy

You fail to realize that China's economy is mainly driven by exports. If other countries (especially America) do not buy, China is screwed. Americas economy is largely driven by consumtion. In simple terms, China's economy lies in Americas hands and Americas economy lies in Americas hands grin. In addition, China makes what they are told how to make. The technology of the stuff they make originates in the West. If America wisens up (which Trump is trying to do) and stops the transfer (stealing) of this technology, they are screwed.
