Soursop is a tropical fruit which has a thick prickly flesh and a whitish inside with a sweet-sour taste. Most Nigerians pronounce it as “shawa chop”. This fruit has many health benefits and few of them are below.

For Eye
Soursop is filled with antioxidants. These antioxidants, especially vitamins C and E, zinc, and beta-carotene, have been found to decrease the risk of eye disease. The antioxidants also reduce oxidative stress, which can otherwise cause cataracts and other eye related issues.
