Over its six seasons, 'The Sopranos' seemed to cast every Italian-American actor with a SAG card in the New York/New Jersey area. It turns out 15-year old, Upper East Side student Stefani Germanotta, the artist who would later be known as Lady Gaga, was no exception.

Most fans would have said Peter Bogdanovich or Steve Buscemi was the most famous guest star in the series. However, they have overlooked an important teenage extra. Before going Gaga, Germanotta briefly played a wayward teen alongside A.J. Soprano (Robert Iler) in season 3, episode 9 ('The Telltale Moozadell.') This is the moment in the series when Tony Sopranos son begins turning from chubby little brother into manic-depressive thug.

A.J. and pals decide to break into their school's pool to swim, drink, smoke and trash the joint. Gaga plays one of the teen girls along for the ride. The reason it's taken so long for the clip to emerge is because she blends into the background. Who would've thought that one of today's loudest celebrities would be so quiet in show where most characters yell? Gaga fans have suspected she appeared in the show at some point since Perez Hilton posted selections from her high school yearbook online. However, it took until today for someone to comb through every minute of every actor until finding Gaga's first minute and a half of fame.



Her next moment in front of the camera occurred in 2005. In her only other pre-Gaga performance, the 18-year old unknowingly appeared on MTV's 'Boiling Point.' The show gave contestants $100 if they didn't freak out while undercover actors performed pranks on them. In Gaga's episode, a waitress first steals her lunch at a restaurant and then returns with dirty salad. Spoiler alert: She begins cussing like she's a character in 'The Sopranos' and doesn't win $100.
