Olanrewaju Fasasi aka (Lanre Fassy) the leader of Ages Orchestra hailed from this ancestral historical famous town in the Yoruba Nation the fastest developed Region in the annals history of the Nigeria Nation at Independent with Ibadan the capital of Western Region the home town of Olanrewaju Fasasi (Lanre Fassy). During the Nigerianization after the departure of Colonial masters from the Nigeria Nation in 1960 the Yoruba Nation in Nigeria valued Education so much more than the other two Regions (Eastern and Northern Regions) in Nigeria then at Independent and Lanre Fassy was not left out in this “must” acquire knowledge in terms of Educational persuit as Olanrewaju Fasasi aka (Lanre Fassy) completed his High School Education in 1961 in Ibadan with clean and clear records and moved to Lagos City the Federal Capital of Nigeria to seek for greener pastures. Olanrewaju Fasasi joined The Inner Circle Orchestra led by late Ayinde Bakare in 1966 and the Band was playing Weekly Gigs regularly on Fridays at West-End Colosium, Apongbon, Lagos under the management of late Tunde Anuwo with World Famous King Sunny Ade (GCR) & His Green Spot Band also playing Gigs but on schedules (5.00am - 7.00am). Unexpected happened as Olanrewaju Fasasi and the Bongo drumner (Charles O.) were sacked unjustifiable from the band in 1967. In the process Olanfewaju Fasasi worked as a Petrol Attendant with Texaco Service Filling Station, Igbosere, Lagos under R. A. Badru the dealer. latter Olanrewaju Fasasi left to Texaco Service Station, Apapa Road, Lagos as a Supervisor-In-Charge of Merchandise under late R.O. Tijani from 1970 - 1973. Unfortunately Olanrewaju Fasasi was recalled back to the music Industry again by the band that sacked him previously The Inner Circle Orchestra now led by a new band leader late Gbenga Adefeso. But regretably the band finally disbanded in 1977. During the period of The Inner Circle Band disbandment, Olanrewaju Fasasi worked with Teju Foam Industry as a Hire Purchase Clerk under Chief Bisoye Tejuosho. Despite this lucrative job but because of flair and passion for the Entertainment Industry, Olanrewaju Fasasi formed his own musical group "Lanre Fassy & His Easy - Going Orchestra in 1979 and now changed to (Lanre Fassy & His Ages Orchestra).
Lanre Fassy in his pursuit of recording an Album that has not been easy due to one thing or the other did not give up the hope of waxing a record Album as he has just completed Juju Highlife Music works on a six tracker Album produced by a renowned Music Producer Gbenga Melody in an ultra-modern Digital & Analogue Studios in Lagos Nigeria.
