Google’s voice search function doesn’t just turn on when you ask it to. Rather, it records almost everything. The outlet reports that Google began doing this in June of 2015. Sounds creepy yet? Well, it gets even worse. You see, you can listen to the recordings Google has stored and associated with your name simply by visiting this webpage the company set up.

The feature works as a way of letting people search with their voice, and storing those recordings presumably lets Google improve its language recognition tools as well as the results that it gives to people. But it also comes with an easy way of listening to and deleting all of the information that it collects. That’s done through a special page that brings together the information that Google has on you.
How to delete the recordings
Luckily, if you’re not too happy about Google having potentially hours of your voice in its database, you can delete those files.

Beside each file’s title you’ll see a checkbox.

Simply check those boxes and click 'delete'.

How to Stop Google from Recording You Again
Now, as The Independent points out, stopping Google from recording you does result in some limited functionality if you’re using an Android phone or the company’s search.

However, you may be someone whose concern for privacy is much greater than finding what you’re looking for easily. If so, begin by never using Google’s voice search functions again. Follow up by disabling Google’s voice search.

Follow these steps for Android users:

1. Navigate to Settings
2. Tap the General tab
3. Under “Personal” find “Language and Input”
4. Find “Google voice typing” and tap the Settings button
5. Tap “Ok Google” Detection
6. “Under the”From the Google app” option, move the slider to the left

Perhaps, that's why it's easy for fraudulent people to be brought to book in advanced countries. They could simply tap into these databases for recogition patterns.
Imagine such measures in place in Nigeria. All these force men populating the streets to milk out of the small profits from hustlers' pockets would have been tracking viable leads instead and bring these alarming rate of cyber-robbers, terrorists and other criminals to book.

People don't understand that the world is rigged against you as a criminal. There's always one silly mistake they'll use to catch you, no matter how careful you think you are. Using a gmail for one. Those people will carry your files and give to just anybody asking. If you gotta do Yahoo, do your research first.

I keep telling y'all. Nothing is for free. Google keeps track of everything we do.

How else can y'all explain Targeted Ads? Wisen up folks. Google is not a charity organization. It's a profit making business. The earlier y'all realized this, the better.

Welcome to the real world baby

My Android phone is strictly for business. They can help put it in their ad. We sell herbs for men's fitness below the belt. Meanwhile, I do think people should be allowed their privacy. Although, That can't be totally possible as long as it isn't your tech.

Technology or communication is not possible without data. If you don't want your data taken, stay away from tech and go live with your grandma in the village.

So Google should record only your voice without taking up other sounds in your vicinity? Google na God?
