I usually look at plate that will not be quickly outdated ( just simple design that will fit in the structure)

Square pipe and frame should be thick one I.e 2mm or minimum 1.5mm

Also the lock should be ready made type.

The owner really mean the tenants

Nigerians can spoil people's thing as long as it not theirs. Nice thinking from the Landlord.

Put a modern cabinet and come back again after two years or when the tenants leaves, the cabinet would just be useless.

The rate of tear and wear and depreciation of assets in rented apartment in Nigeria is high. May be owing to use of inferior materials in the construction.

I like the client decision.
Bcs it’s not wise to waste money on something that doesn’t add value to things this days.
As I said earlier the people in this location doesn’t value modern kitchen cabinet.( HDF board).
What they like here is big space with moderate finishings.

We did same for the client formal house some years back and the block cabinet still remains intact till today.

Noticed one thing though, your windows do not have window wood. Is it just the design, cost consideration or Any reason for that?
