Yesterday, there was a ghastly accident involving a Dangote truck loaded with cements and a BRT bus.

The trailer was going inward Ikorodu when it skidded off the main carriageway and collided with the high capacity bus on the BRT corridor. Several passengers in the BRT bus suffered different degrees of injuries.

You can read about it HERE

The Lagos state government in a tweet promised to take full responsibility of the medical bills of victims in the BRT bus.

See the tweet below;

And so what is the responsibility of Primero - the private firm running the buses?

Keep our taxpayers money and let insurers worry about that please.

I wonder if they're also going to conduct the burial rites for the innocent dead folks.

BTW.. with all these Dangote trucks getting into various accidents every now and then... what's the gov't doing abt it? Are they making him liable and punishing him as needed OR ? angry

Which one is Cement Truck.... They should say Dangote truck jor

If Dangote is not held responsible for killing people, his company will always fail to enforce strict safety rules with their drivers.

The number of people that have died in the hands of Dangote this year is competing with armed robbers, herdsmen, and SARS

That evil driver deliberately rammed unto the BRT bus. He could have entered the bush on his lane

Thanks LSG.

Dangote over to you. Are you going to compensate them with 2 million naira each or not?

You have to pay some price for having reckless drivers littered all over the country like nuisance.

I must also commend some of your drivers though. Like the ones that evacuated Benue Students from Taraba recently

Dangote should be held responsible and his company must pay compensation to all injured and the family of the dead. Let’s begin to do things right in this country. Dangote is responsible for all his employees and equipments.

These Dangote drivers are so reckless and they always get away with whatever they do. The driver and motor boy of yesterday's accident were nowhere to be found after the accident. How they escaped still baffles everyone. God knows why he did not swerve to the nearby bush instead of facing the Brt bus. May the souls of the dead RIP and speedy recovery to the injured.

Nice move by LASG but I think dangote himself should be responsible for their treatment.
