Hello nairalanders, I'm a student(aspirant of Funaab, Abeokuta), I've completed my one year apprentiship in barbing but am yet to do freedom, but i also have passion in web works, i can browse 24hrs, but there is no anyone good in networking that i can learn from him in my town, and my parents has been disturbing me that i should learn handwork before i proceed to university
I want to ask should i find someone that will teach me networking while in school or i should open my barbing shop or i should build on my course of study, which is animal nutrition, and focus in it after my graduation, advice please

...Since u dont hav to use a whole day for learn networking, i mean its a tin u can learn on part time routine.
...Secondly, tho academic acquisition in our uni is stressful but i can stil say u wont hav to spend everyday in a week on it.
...And ur barbing skill, am sure u didn't learn barbing to automatically forget ur education ambition... which means u already knw dat it would b a side hustle atleast for now.


With all dis above comes my piece of advice.
1) If u re in d school environs already den try to get a shop for ur barbing assignment as u work and prepare for ur admission, and if u re nt in d school premises, try and get all d necessary equipments needed for ur barbing ready, go to d school and search for a shop beforehand, then get to open ur barbing shop as soon as u resume. let ur shop b close to ur school and hostel as u wil b going to school in d morning and resume to ur shop in d evening, u can do ur academic assignment in ur shop wen u re less busy cus it wil b a mistake to postpone it to wen u get home as u would hav already got tired

2) Dont rush urseld immediately after resumption, pay atention to every details within u to knw what is goin on first for at least a month and pls b vigilant, walk with some positive mind with brilliant brain, den after ensuring this u can now source for where/who to take u on networking adventure, preferably a student who is a guru, the reason i opted for a student is cus majority of tym u wil b d one to giv him wen it is convenient for you, it can b twice in d weekend, maybe saturday and sunday of rigorous learning and within six month u wil hav become ur own baba.

its a simple sturvs, all u hav to do is b determined, cut ur sleeping hours and atend less social gatherings den know ur GOD, I MEAN PRAY...

Remember u hav semester break as well i tink u can make a good use of it. God help u.

hustle money, buy small container, rent small space either on campus or off campus, u can be lucky to be charged token .
Run schooling and barbing reasonably.

Guy open ur barbing shop oo,it's more lucrative if well managed

I think you can do your barbing job and learn networking at the same time. However i won't advice you rent a shop because it might make you skip lectures occasionally which I'm sure you don't want again the cost of running the shop is something you might want to consider as well. Instead of getting a shop, I'll advice you do all you can to secure school hostel and you can start barbing for the guys in the hostel provided you're good in barbing you'll be the one barbing all the boys in your hall mind you, there won't be need to get generator tslkess of buying fuel
