Moghalu Reacts To Xenophobic Attacks In South Africa, Tells Nigerians What To Do by HeWrites(m): 7:22am On Sep 03, 2019
Kingsley Moghalu, the 2019 Young Progressives Party, YPP, presidential candidate has condemned the killing and attack on Nigerians in South Africa.

Recall Igbere TV reported earlier that properties includings cars which belong to Nigerians in the country, was set on fire by South Africans. Shops belonging to Nigerians was also looted by South Africans as captured in a viral video.

President of the Nigeria Union South Africa, Adetola Olubajo, had said that recent attacks began on Sunday morning in Jeppestown area of Johannesburg.

Mr Olubajo said in a statement on Monday that the mob “looted several shops that were around the vicinity suspected to be owned by foreign nationals.”

Reacting to the development, Moghalu in a post on Monday, urged Nigerians to take reprisal action against South Africans.

“It’s time for serious reprisal action by Nigeria over the killing of our nationals in South Africa. That’s the national interest that should guide all our foreign relations!

“Some strategic interest of South Africa in Nigeria should be squeezed.”

Sanctions is the best way to go.. How many Nigeria companies are in SA?

Iran Wey no get business for Usa felt the sanctions imposed on them heavily not to talk of SA companies monopolising some products in Nigeria.

Btw, hope Moghalu is not calling for killings reprisal cos that would be the most reckless statements I have read for a while.

Moghalu shouldn't say such a thing, that's uncalled for...... the matter should be diplomatically resolved.

Thrash...

Year after year, Legit Nigerian businesses are burnt, Nigerians killed and murdered just because they do better business.

The chances of a foreigner doing better than the average population of an indigene country is high, because the foreigner came with a motive and drive, he is acceptable to vigorous jobs and workloads most indigenes would reject because he came with a goal in mind.

Nigerians are so stupid that if u call for a reprisal attack they would start attacking and looting each others businesses, i know what am saying.

To me let the government sanction South African businesses by making it almost Impossible for them to repatriate any profit they make from Nigeria back home.

i don't think there's any measure between govt of both countries to resolve this issue.

Xenophobic attack is done by citizens, if nigerian or african businesses are burnt and people are killed, its not their govt handiwork but their citizens'.

Now, what has nigerian govt done to tackle this menace? What has SAn govt done to tackle d menace too? It shouldn't be a people-to-people affair but rather a govt-to-govt resolution.

buhari can't sanction south Africa

he's a cow and only interested in cow affairs

Can't Nigerians just show solidarity by abandoning and rejecting Nigeria organisation

Nigerians should withdraw it's savings from Stanbic bank
Nigerians should not patronize ShopRite
Nigerians should reject DStv

Nigerians be strong and show solidarity

Injustice against one is injustice against all

Everything is going wrong in Nigeria at the moment...
Right now u can't travel easily to any European countries in the world once u are from Nigeria.
The US president has said that even if u give birth in US don't qualify ur child as a citizen.
Visa fees have been increased
We are bn paraded for so many offences in different parts of the world.
Nigerians are bn killed and detained in every part of the world
All eyes are watching Nigerians now..
The name NIGERIA is so loud on every TV stations world wide for our misbehaviours.
Now our fellow Africans are now killing us for no reason
all because of envy and jealousy that we are making it in their countries
BUHARI our youths are not LAZY.
Lack of jobs and means of survival led to all this
Empower us and trust a better Nigeria.
God help and protect Nigerians in diaspora

one of the reasons why i support a reprisal is because, this shit happens almost every year and it always end in sorry, then next year it happens again, we hear another sorry, this time let us too tell them sorry
