President Alassane Ouattara of Côte d’ Ivoire has appointed Adama Koné Minister of Economic and Financial Affairs to support the re-election of Dr Akinwumi Adesina as President of the Africa Development Bank (AfDB).

Quattara said this at the first Council of Ministers of the country’s new government team on Friday.

He explained that Koné, a former minister of Economy and Finance was reappointed to represent the country as the Executive Director in AfDB to support and work for Adesina’s re-election.

According to him, Adesina deserves a second term because of the great job he is doing.

If Nigeria love good things and want good and robust economic policies, i can conveniently tell you our next president shld be Adesina.
That man is a moving bulldozer.
But here we are so fantastically corrupt; if you don't have billions of naira to bribe virtually everybody, don't dare seek election be it president of governor.
The youths who by now shld take over the governance of this country are more corrupt than the old politicians.

Adesina is a performer.
He makes positive impact everywhere he goes.

Buhari never learned anything from Jonathan, who worked with really talented technocrafts.
The problem that Jonathan had was that he didn't manage them well.

By using career politicians to fill up everywhere, Buhari has proven that his coming to power is an ego trip.

I think Nigerian leaders need to start going to Paul Kagame, the president of Rwanda, for leadership lessons.

It was GEJ that your Yoruba people love to hate that appointed the man as a minister and okonjo Iweala help him to become AFDB head.

Okonjo Iweala, Peter Obi performed very well and should be made president.
