Don't be too quick to jump to conclusions,the bullet was obviously no longer moving with great velocity..

If you look at it you will notice that there was no dent or squashing of the bullet,which would have happened if it was still moving at great speed and impacted on his skull..

My guess is that the bullet was shot into the air and fell on his head while falling on the ground and didn't do much damage apart from entering the THICK skin of the skull,because most of its force was already spent..

Initial examination by the Chemist might show nothing because of how deep it was buried in the skin,being a foreign body it is expected to start giving him issues as time goes on..

Of course he is embellishing the story by his claim of a spirit telling him something is in his head,,I would expect he has been having symptoms from the buried bullet and was disturbed enough to investigate further..

it's very possible bro I have a friend who still have a bullet on his head since 2012 till date, were the bullet is is very fragile to remove as any attempt will take his life..so he is still walking around with a life bullet on his head
