With the recent rape/sexual molestation cases news spreading across social media,I think it's right time we get something right and be more careful.
Just yesterday there was a news of a woman that molested a 14yrs boy and this morning it's a 20yrs old girl molested by 9 boys and raped by 3 out of them, this means both genders are involved.
Due to the high rate of sexual immorality presently goingon, sex as been come so cheap that children now engaged in sexual activities as early as 12 years ( junior secondary school ), I once asked some children between the ages of 12-16years what are they in relationship for? They couldn't give me any good reason, you maybe surprise that boy or girl you think is small and innocent Sabi things pass you. Good morals are no more, that's why there is no respect for elders again cos they've started doing things meant for adult hood from teen age. This bring me to some suggestions
1- As a parent don't give your children that are not yet in higher institution phones that can browse ( u may disagree with me ) but from experience as a phone engineer and teacher, what they do mostly with phone is watching pornography, dirty chats and sexual groups. At this age I don't think they needs phone, if they want to browse anything let them use your phone and do check your browser history, then buy a very small phone for house.
2- As a parent be mindful of the programs your children watches, some cartoons are not meant for children, also kind of music they hear 80 percent of Nigeria songs this days either talk on sex or quick money and gangster.
3- Their peer group/friends, make sure you know them and try to understand their behavior, don't deny them some freedom but also monitor them.
4- Give them money but not in excess. Just the amount they need.
5- Don't remove punishment when needed.

For children
- don't just visit anybody anyhow cos they seems nice or good, what some people thinks about now is sex once the See's a girl.
- don't just drink anything from bottle or even cup as long it's not water.
-never follow your friend out to unknown place.
-always inform your parents of your whereabouts.
-incase of any bad thing always tell your parents.
-dont collect gift or money or assistance from unknown person.
-dress decently always.
- no do follow follow.

Be safe...

So sad people don't read this kind thread but will rush to rain curse on any one caught for such and start shouting castrate him or she was raped cos of her dressing, it's not rape but consensual sex with minor .... Make we safe ourself before God add him own. Peace
