The picture of the kidnapper is below, but read this short post first.

I read a post of a man advising men to marry early. It's good to marry early, but if you don't have the financial capacity, don't.

Even if you're 40 years and single, wait till you set up a business. (Job isn't enough is this digital age).

Don't let the society pressure you into marriage. You'll will end up birthing lots of children you can't take care of.

You, your wife, or kids will either suffer or go into crime to feed and in the end make other people, your victims, suffer.

Why is it that most African men's wisdom always end in "Get married earlier even if you don't have money, God will provide?"

They'll never advise you to invent something and make the world a better place. All they care about is populating with world with potential criminals and ritualists.

Why are we so focused on multiplying our crime-ridden population when we are mentally enslaved and financially incapable?

So, I read a post on Linda Ikeji's blog some hours ago of a-30-year-old man who was apprehended for kidnapping and he confessed he went into the business to pay his kid's school fees.

This bastárd kidnapper got married poor because a so-called wise man told him to get married even if he has nothing and God will provide. Today, he probably has more than 5 children and God hasn't provided yet.

These people thing God is a fool — no, he isn't. He provides for those who are focused with a plan and not those who are pressured to do what they aren't meant to do.

What makes me angry is the children these men bring into this world to suffer and multiple the crime rate we already have and are struggling to tackle.

Innocent business men get kidnapped nowadays just for this so-called "marry early" men to train their children. Do you know these kidnappers kill some of their victims even after payment?

Look at were "Marry early even if you don't have much God will provide," has led us.

The only thing a black Nigerian man is thinking about is how to insert his tiny 1-minute dick inside a vagina and populate the world with kids (potential fraudsters).

I'm fed up with these backward mentality. We spend our youthful days going to one stupid university with outdated lecturers for years when we could've used that money to set up a business.

We are mentally, spiritually, and financially poor in this country, yet these so-called wise men and women keep pressuring men into early marriage.

Those of us who take our time to have legitimate businesses and financial stability are the ones who suffer. We get kidnapped all because you want to pay your kids' school fees. Na we tell you make you born plenty?

Where were you when we were suffering from month to month just to build our businesses or learn different digital skills to help us make legit money? You were busy watching porn and football and attending one archaic university along the road thinking you'll get a good job when you graduate. The real world and your fantasies are not the same. Don't let these men deceive you.

Men, use your time wisely so you'll be financially stable before these so-called wise men lure you into a marriage that'll ruin your life.

Let the wise listen and let the rest do as it pleases them. Time will tell.

Seconded. I always find it funny when people say to me "don't worry he who finds a wife finds a good thing don't worry marry first doors will open" ... Oga like seriously?
It is definitely advantageous to settle down early and I'm all for it but don't try it when you don't have a concrete plan for ur future

Someone who doesn't have a good source of income is having children, not even child, children, sometimes if people use their senses, the poverty level in Nigeria and other African countries might not be this high.

True. Those that pressure the men to marry wont be there to assist the family when financial difficulties arise. Thats when all the friends show their real colours.
theres an adage, "when poverty comes through the door, love flies out through the window."
Be financially stable before settling down. It benefits the family as a whole. Especially with this economy, its not about giving birth to a hundred children in povery, it's about having, even if its just one child, one can cater for efficiently. Not that your children will start dying off. From hunger to sickness. Thats not living.

Your head is more organized than most headquarters in Nigeria. Glad to see people that think alike.
