This man that I am not sure went to secondary at all talk more of a retired army general that went to many training abroad, still u guys are saying that he does not have certificate. Mtcheeeeew....... Pdp always wail when the law did not favour them . What happened in zamfara state is a clear case of how pdp are. Why didnt they reject the ruling since they did not even score up to 20% pf casted votes in the governorship election? Yeye people! PDP.... Cry me a river ! Cry me a Lagoon ! And finally cry me an atlantic ocean!! 2 Likes |

meethumb: If he did not read the requirements before now then he is one of the half baked ignorants. No enlightened mind should be surprised. Those requirements have been there since 1998. However, Nigerians themselves can pass a resolution on the requirements by choosing to vote only those they perceive as being more than qualified to do the job. 1 Like |

Iamgrey5: With due respect, anyone with a brain had realized long ago that this along with certificate was the weakest part of Atiku’s case. I said it right at the onset, you cannot admit to court an illegality. Did they hack the server or did they bribe someone to get the info. To go to court and say you have this info that is supposed to be classified is in itself a breach of national security. Only a fool would go admit to such in court. 2 Likes |

To me, it's not so much about certificate but competence and and ability. Does he have them? A good leader who has no certificate will be welcome. Is he a good leader? That's the contention. 1 Like |

frankmoney: I lost any regard for Atiku when he allowed his legal team to challenge Biharis educational qualifications. A man attended a reputable postgraduate war college, his picture is pasted on their website as a notable alumni and you are arguing over secondary school certificate? Even if he didn’t go to secondary school, that he has attended a postgraduate institution exceeds the minimum education qualification and nullifies all these noise about secondary school certificate. 2 Likes |

In everything, remember there is always tomorrow. Sometimes, judgment might be delivered to favour some interest, but at the detriment of the nation and her future. Base on Mohammed Garba's ruling, someone might set up a hospital and start diagnosing patients. If you inquire to know if the person is a medical doctor, he will stand on the existing ruling to tell you that he don't need to possess a certificate before practicing as a medical doctor. Muhammadu Buhari might be qualified to vie or assumed the position of president. But the pronouncements of the judge with respect to possession of certificate in his ruling is suicidal to the image and future of Nigeria. 1 Like 1 Share |

This is one of the worst judicial precedent ever set in the anal history of the third Arm of government. What this ruling meant is that every one is eligible to run for any public office irrespective of qualifications. Ok no issue. Lets go there. |

Iamgrey5: The problem here is that buhari attached a fake certificate which is lieing. Buhari would have have been qualified If he didn’t add his Waec certificate, but he did and that why he should be dismissed. |

perpeling22: You clearly need to go back to school, if in all that has been said you still do not understand. Constitution does not require certificate, constitution requires education, it is for you to prove you have the education. One of the ways and the commonly used is a certificate but because it is the most common does not mean it is the only proof or the mandatory proof. What you are required is to prove the education. |

isthatso: You are an illiterate who have refused to comprehend, you have been dragged to the river but you have to drink on your own. In buhari presidential form he attached and submitted to inec,he attached what is supposed to be a waec certificate. It is on that basis that pdp is arguing about the genuity of that certificate ,he should prove what he attached and also prove what he has been attaching since 2003. Now that I have educated you,it’s left for you to comprehend. |

AK481:Buhari didn't attach any document to his forms That is what PDP are saying. Buhari swore an affidavit that he passed Waec/Cambridge exams and that they are with the military. PDP are claiming it's a lie that he never had the certificate and that he forged the affidavit. The court told them yesterday that they have to prove that he Indeed was lying beyond reasonable doubt because it I now a criminal case not a civil case anymore. In a criminal case any random testimony can't be accepted. |

AK481: You cannot educate me because you are lacking in knowledge. Understand the difference between your actual waec certificate and certified statement of results and confirmation of results. If I don’t have my certificate and my principal or watch for a certified confirmation or statement of results, it is the same thing for the purposes of election requirements. For instance till today I don’t have my waec certificate, what I have used all my life is my statement of results. |
