Sir, our business of the day is to reveal to you the dilapidating state of Security in Omerelu and its environs. Omerelu is a boundary community along Port Harcourt - Owerri Highway. It is in Ikwerre LGA of Rivers State and can boast of having produced sons and daughters who had served and still serving in different capacities in the past and present governments in the State. It was once the most peaceful community in Rivers State but all that is lost now in one swoop as insecurity has engulfed the town.
