Nope, Christ envied no one... And, I never posited that it is an act of envy to criticize people. I clearly stated that from my research and observation, most of the people who join this criticism bandwagon do it out of envy, not necessarily out of altruism or godliness (Read with comprehension sir).

If you go through my comments on a lot of politically related topics on this forum, you will clearly see I am an unrepentant critic of bad governance and leaders... Does that imply that I envy them? Hell No!!!.. I have even lent my words to call out hirelings in the ministry of reconciliation (Gospel) severally, does that also mean I envy them??!... I'm all about motive, and in that regard most of the people flaying clergymen on social media, are not interested in the furtherance of the true Gospel like Christ, his apostles, my humble self, Bluntboy (Maybe), etc. A lot of them do it as a means to justify their lukewarm Christian lives... Try to get the drift, I pray you sir.

The problem I have with most Nigerians on pastors is....They make it look as if preaching prosperity and tithing and having a private jet is a Nigerian thing.

First of all, what makes you think that Jesus did not envy the Pharisees, and what makes you think you don't envy the politicians you criticize?

The point is that the issue shouldn't even be about envy or not, but about substance. Bringing envy into a straightforward argument shows nothing but pure emotion, because it is hard to tell motives from emotions due to extraneous variables.

You quoted a post that had quoted me. You obviously failed to read my post, and yet quickly made a blanket statement which I am very sure does not have the statistics to hold water.

And that statement about hypocrisy being a black thing just sums it all up. You are highly emotional.
