Nigeria has entered second stage in its journey towards breakup. The world is finally coming to the realization that the country is in serious crises, with mass killings going on unabated. The country as it is now is very weak and vulnerable to both internal and external attacks. Everything has continued on a free fall towards anarchy with state institutions in disarray while self help measures are gaining ground. The third and last stage will be fatal but it will definitely herald the breakup of the country. The UN, EU etc will never allow a serious conflict to happen in Nigeria that will result in massive deaths and refugee crises without support a final balkanization to manageable countries. Unknown to many, Nigeria is too weak to even question UN or other world powers should they demand for ceasefire and referendum in the face of any major crises that may arise. It is no longer a question of if Nigeria will breakup, but when exactly or the form it will take place. 3 Likes 1 Share |

There is no conflict between herders and farmers. It is just that the fulani herders are trying to take over the lands of the other ethic group and in the process killing anybody killable. |
