Zimbabwean President, Emmerson Mnangagwa, said on Monday that former President Robert Mugabe, died of advanced cancer and had already been taken off chemotherapy.

NAN reports that Mnangagwa told supporters of the ruling party ZANU-PF in New York that Mugabe had to be taken off the chemotherapy because it was no longer effective.

Mnangagwa is in the U.S. for the 74th session of the United Nation General Assembly (UNGA74), which President Muhammadu Buhari is also attending.

Igbere TV recalls that Mugabe died in Singapore on September 6, and his body was flown back home on September 11.

A funeral service attended by African leaders was held at the National Stadium Sept. 14, now lying in state at his home in Harare while a mausoleum is being built for him at the national shrine.

After dancing the witch dance he will still not be able to deliver on jobs, health care, road infrastructure, education, decent and affordable housing, power grid and drinking water in rural areas etc. Big shame.
