During my youth service...they brought one patient for me. Patient had severe kidney disease. Was swollen. They wanted me to give him blood transfusion so that they could take him 'for prayers'.

Me I refused and told them to go to a teaching hosptial.

If they like, make them call me bad dokita. I no go put my hand for something wey I no fit do. If in doubt....REFER.

Don't do SERIOUS operation if you AINT A SPECIALST SURGEON!

I agree with you on 100%. He need to be charged for murder period. If he took out both kidneys there was no need to even state the patient died. He needs to be further investigated to find out what happened to his other patients.... if they are dead..or have a kidney removed. He most likely was telling them the kidney is in a bad shape but he will try his best... goes in.. takes out both... then the patient dies after... and sorry...I tried my best. Now who would know the patient kidneys were both removed? This case only came to light because the victim's people most likely did a post mortem.
We need to be wary of these doctors quick to call for surgery... kidneys are super expensive on the black market and these doctors are the suppliers. They may tell you appendix surgery... then they plunge in and remove your kidney... how on earth would you know?? Be wary of these money hungry beasts doctors.

He is not a surgeon. Highly impossicant. He did housemanship in 2012 and killed in 2016. Within 4 years of graduation. He cannot become a surgeon juslaikdat

Gross negligence and unprofessional conduct at its peak. I bet he is one of those clamoring for salary parity with their counterparts around the world when he doesn't even have what it takes to deserve such perquisite.

His counterparts around the world are not allowed to open up patients unsupervised.
To be honest, I dont think he sold the kidneys. I'm not sure what he was trying to do though. Learn anatomy on a live patient or what?
If he sold the kidneys, it must have been to ritualists. Who would entrust such a delicate operation as kidney harvesting to someone who doesn't know his anatomy?

If you are still in medical school I will advise you to take your studies seriously and look forward to practice in a standard setting even if it means leaving the country. Making laws and enforcing them mean nothing if the conditions for service are not adequate.
