It is the Ibos that are slaves to the Hausa Fulanis. They are very tribalistic and practiced racism but out of frustration and inferiority complex complained about the Yorubas. You brought out a very key observation that the Yorubas are not remembering their past. During Obj era, the Afenifere remembered Col Adekunle Fajuyi who lost his life in the process of save guarding Aguiyi Ironsi. The memorial was a major event in South West. Obj and some factions never supported the memorial. The IBOs made very ungrateful comments against Fajuyi.

In South West, there is a duplicity of opinions and DICHOTOMY of political orientation which made a common stand to be difficult to achieve. Political vendors from the North only come to South West to look for camp to pitch their tent. There is an internal crisis in the South West because of dichotomy of political orientation since Awolowo era. There is an internal political warfare which made the South West the least developed region in the South. Outside Lagos, no development in South West. South East & South South are developed and the IBOs are lucky to inherit foreign reserve of almost $50 billion from Obj/Yaradua and an oil price up to $140 per barrel which they looted to develop themselves. The military developed the North. South West no development. The day South West will come to remember her past, then Nigeria end is nearer, but the IBOs blackmailing of the South West cannot achieve this.

If igbos want to be slaves, they won't seek to be free from oppression.

Gani Adams spoke against fulani domination and your Yoruba brothers started attacking him. That shows that you people are slaves by default

It is very painful the way the Ibos think. I spent 6 years in the University in the East, I know the thinking pattern. There is an internal crisis in the South West since Awolowo era till date. Ikemba did not realise this before the civil war commenced. Later, he realized it. There has been a long time political warfare in the South West and growing number of Churches which conditioned peoples thought.

There was governorship election in Anambra in 2014 & 2018 without national tension or attention. Nairaland and social media were very cold and election result out same day before 10pm the winner is known.

Ekiti and Osun elections of 2014 and 2018 were national issues. Tension and attention shifted to those States. All the media shifted attention to those elections. A lot of observers both local and international. We kept vigil on nairaland. FB and other media. There is an internal crisis. Political vendors from the North only study the environment and choose the faction that favour them. Tinubu only represents his group.

At least, igbos are remembering their pasts and using it to Foster a better future for themselves.

What happens to the Yorubas, on the other hand? They are more satisfied with being slaves to the Fulanis.

Now, you should be the one to think twice before you open your gutter mouth.
You are talking of slaves I only know slaves are from your region called OSU's you should be more concerns on how to liberate your brothers and sisters from OSU I have come across a lot of your people(OSU) hidden their identity from people some of them even relocate to unknown lands just to avoid been call OSU what a shame.

I know as i was going down reading the comments that one mad tribalist will soon turn this into an Igbo Vs Yoruba thread.

expert234:
Igbos are holding their own, but Yorubas seem to be happy being slaves to fulanis. They are ready to throw Gani Adams under the bus for daring to set them free from slavery.

The mentality of most Yorubas is that of a slave.

Too bad.
Re: Markets In Asaba To Shut Down To Honor Civil War Massacre Victims by oyatz(m): 3:43pm On Sep 29, 2019
You have listened to Biafran propaganda for so long.

Awo wasn't the Biafran Minister of Agriculture and neither did the Biafran sign any contract with him to supply food to Biafran citizens.

Gowon led FG granted an international safe Corridor to transport Foods and medicines to Biafrans with FG inspection of the consignments but Ojukwu rejected the offer because he wanted to smuggle in weapons.

Odingo1:

what Nigeria did against the civilians in Biafra is war crime. They block all food aids from international organizations from reaching refugee camps. In war there is an international corridor for food supplies and medicaments to reach the refugees.

Which evidence are you looking again, wasn’t Awolowo the architect that starve young children to death once said that what they did is part of the war game.

The Anglo-German accord of 1913 gave Bakassi to Cameroun, on the basis of which the International court of Justice based their ruling.

Odingo1:

You are still lying, what make Cameroon to have better control of Bakkassi is because Gowon and Awolowo gave it to Cameroon so that they can block food supplies heading to Biafra. Cameroon troops occupy Bakassi till date.

You need to liberate yourself of this Psyche of conjuring up an imaginary concept of Fulani slavery and forcing anyone whose opinions differ from yours to accept your weird idea.

expert234:

Stop ranting and just accept that you are a fulani slave.

Education is designed to free people from mental slavery, but it looks like your own education immerses you deeper into mental slavery. And to think you are even a slave to people who are less educated than you!

What does that make out of you? A Useful Idiot? Just an innocent question.

And why not leave the Yorubas to their fate?
Do you think you are wiser than the over 40million Yodubas?

Must the Yorubas think and act like you do?

Why bringing your rabid irrational hatred for the Yorubas to derail this well deserved war memorial?

You are right; the Yorubas must think and act like Fulani slaves. That's the destiny of your tribe: Mental Slavery laced with blindness. Despite your education, you are still mentally blind. What a shame!

Didn't your Yoruba brothers attack Gani Adams for speaking against fulani? That's enough evidence to prove that your tribe loves slavery to Fulanis

The igbos wanted to leave because they are bold enough to want to govern themselves. What of the Yorubas? You are too mentally backward as a tribe to stand up for yourself.

No wonder IBB said "if I hear a Yoruba man beating war drum, I will go to sleep" grin

Just shut up, boy and enjoy your slavery to Fulanis.

This clearly shows that you are either mad or very unintelligent.

Gani Adam and all those you are qouting aren't upto 100 people, how can this translate to your imaginary Fulani slavery?

You have descended into insanity...check it sir.

Thank God you confirmed that your people actually attacked Gani Adams for speaking against Fulani domination. You further confirm the love of your people for slavery
Apart from being unintelligent, you are also some artful dodger. You should use your head more frequently, boy. If you do, you will realise that the conduct of you people on this platform shapes opinions about your tribe.
