Meanwhile, we can report that palliative measure is being put in place by EKSPW at the Ureje bridge, Oke Ureje along Federal Poly/ABUAD, Ijan /Ikare road. It was earlier reported that the road collapsed aftermath of heavy downpour which makes the road usable.

The EKSPW went to work almost immediately to create a palliative measure to road users and to those who ply the road for their daily bread/businesses. Even though the road cause lots of traffic jam and the road was in total lockdown for hours, the EKSPW crew were able to pave the way and make the road motorable again, at least for a short time.

This is a commendable feat to the state government for being timely, prompt and being decisive

To the worst of it, the so called governor don't even stay in ekiti again, his spending most of his life time in Abuja now thinking he will become the vice president as was predicted before if Osunbade was removed, or thinking Bubu will pick him as presidential candidate come 2023,,,is the deputy that is doing most of the job, I know what am talking about, dull governor,, he will be at okene with yaya bellow now or with bubu in aso rock

Mr Governor, come back home and stay in your state.

Read about Mko abiola, Awolowo and Azikwe about federal politics. They were heartbroken at last.

At a time when d ovation was loud,it was Sir Nnandi Azikwe 1 of Nigeria. Later it became Azikwe 1 of his hometown.

Look at d political downtown of Governors forum past chairmen.
Saraki is now political discarded and unrecognized
Ameachi became a political orphan at a time if not of Buhari's rescue.
Look at Yari of Zamfara today, he has been totally decimated.

Mr Governor, dont let those fulani fool you. They are very smart in Nigeria political game.

Kudos for what exactly?
For a bridge /road that has been in a terrible condition for months without the state or FG doing anything until it claimed life.
Let's keep praising the lackadaisical attitude of the Fayemi government and we will all rip the fruits thereof. Yeye people undecided

Jisos! What manner of palliative is this, is it intended to pull out all the drive shaft of every vehicle that the owner is brave enough to attempt this trap of a road.

It is very shameful to praise Governor for taking this measusre, the road that should be tarred with good trainage and make movement ejoyable has been abandoned for so long and allowed to damage to this extent before palliative measure is being taken.

This road along side other roads in Ekiti have gone so bad and need to be addressed, these roads should be completely reconstructed, the Governor should cool down and go round Ekiti to see for himself the state of roads in Ekiti State. Being the Chairman of Governors' forum is enough to get things right in Ekiti State, the Governor should take advantage of this to attract developmental projects to Ekiti State and maintain the existing structures to gain the confidence of the people that voted him into power.

Rubbish! That road has been calling for attention long before now. The collapsed Bridge is the reason why they are repairing. That particular road is terrible and need to be completely reconstructed not all these patches here and there.
