Murderers in human form.

How was he a murderer i human form? What of your own brother that initiated the civil war and deserted his people and ran away? Sometimes you people talk like foolish people. The same thing your Kanu is trying to repeat. After dropping useless messages for our people he ran away. Where is he today?

People always thinking every request will lead to war. A part of country who has been severally accused of hate and not loved by others decides they be allowed to go and yet some persons still term it war. If you keep me against my wish.. what is it called..Isnt it a PRISONER..

You really need to read up on what transpired during the civil war instead of making uninformed comments. There was no looting or raping in the 3rd marine commandos sector of the war. In fact, they didn’t even take POW. They fed and provided medical care to all captured Igbo soldiers and gave them the opportunity to either join the federal forces or return home.

Why you guys always like to play the ethnic card every time is baffling. Is Alabi-Isama a Yoruba man? You may feel sad about the defeat of Biafra but that won’t change anything about the war. We fought a civil war and the soldiers that fought gallantly on the side of Nigeria deserves to be celebrated.
The emboldened is the Crux of the matter.

If Nigeria can't feed itself then I wonder what the Biafra region will be.

Most of the little food comes from the north and south west.

Look up the fact, you'll see.

Civil war hero. Unfortunately, it seems their efforts have been forgotten. Adekunle, Alabi-Isama, Akinrinade and other guys that fought the war are rarely celebrated today.

Bros! Are you not a Nigerian?
Let the man die tomorrow, you will see more than enough accolades, obituaries packaging & to cap it all, your federal government will announced post humours award.

Looking at Nigeria today and it's retrogression I still don't understand who should regret the civil war more.....Nigerian soldiers who fought for one Nigeria or Biafran soldiers who fought to have independence.

What a progressive comment. He shows his incompetence in controlling his troops to prevent rape and looting (international war crimes) but because he is an Akinrinade , you Seun, thinks he and all the other Adekunles and Alabi-Isamas are war heroes.

Nigeria where the old days is always better than than today,
where the last Government is always preferred to the new one
where Yesterday had more efficient solders than the Buratai troop who would have Wale Oke conduct vigil than training his boys without abusing Nigerian and using the uniform to extort money from civilians
A conquered People, Conquered by the Fulani
Only the Ibos have been consistent that they will not bow to oppression by the Fulanirisation of Nigeria while our Yoruba brother are begging to survive under the hausas. YORUBAS, BREAK YOUR BONDAGE, DON'T PARTNER WITH HAUSA TO STOP IGBO PEOPLE, THEY SAW THE LIGHT A LONG TIME, THAT NIGERIAN CANNOT PROGRESS WITH HAUSAS

You people only talk about the reprisal attack without talking about the illegal invasion of the Midwestern Region by the ragtag biafran army, followed by rape, murder and robbery by the biafran army before the Nigerian army, under the command of Akinrinade, chased them out.

If you don't know your history, I
Will teach you.

The Nigerian soldiers did not fight Gallantly. Gallant means

adjective
/ˈɡalənt/
1.
(of a person or their behavior) brave; heroic

2.
(of a man or his behavior) giving special attention and respect to women; chivalrous.

The Nigerian soldier did not want to fight. With all her population, the north still had to import chadians as enlisted men . These were the ones termed Gwodo Gwodo.

Biafran soldiers were the ones that fought valiantly. They answered the call of their motherland patriotically. Most were under paid and under equipped , but they served to protect their families from genocide andprogrom. Ask any male ibo over the age of 65 if they served during the war and hear their stories. You don't even know the meaning of heroism until you have heard how they survived.

The biafran war really was a proxy war between biafra and great Britain. Great Britain financed 85% of Nigerias effort and USSR, Egypt and Saudi Arabia supplied the rest. Still tiny Biafra fought on , enduring an illegal blockade and starvation, to protect her people. They are the real heroes.

I have seen quite a few ideas but those details will be decided when we get there.
Meanwhile there is a lot of work to be done before we get to that point.

I still do not understand what is civil about a genocide/crime they called "Civil war".

A federal government used weapons bought with oil and tax payers money to intimidate unarmed group of people they as supposed to be protecting (that wants to be on their own because see no future with the fraud contraption) until were forced to pickup arms. Then they claim it's Civil war.
What is Civil about that crime please.
A trained military with military hardware bullied a set of sticks wielding persons and taking glory.
War can only be between equal fire power Nation & group with trained soldiers and machines.
A crime is a crime, not civil war.
Starving innocent children to death can never be pay of a true civil war.
A Man and his Tennant were fighting, but the man left the fight only to go and attack his Tennant children playing in the field. Shame.

It's a good thing that you mentioned just one battalion because Nigerian soldiers finished my people.

My mother and her sister were always hidding in the roof at the time. To some ladies who went to farm when the Nigerian soldiers attacked, their lives never remained the same. You see, they were not just raped...Nigerian soldiers took them away and they never returned home.

Yes, my mother's friends were adopted too. To date, nobody has heard from those little girls. What happened to them is glaringly obvious.

Any Igbo man who still holds deep-rooted hate for the Nigerian state, no doubt, this is understandable. Those soldiers dealt with our mothers. Unlike Rwanda, ever since the end of Nigeria's civil war, this country has rarely made any progress.

I see the hand of God in all of this
