Hmm but in China everything will be written in Chinese language. Are you not supposed to be ashamed of these? Is English language our language?

Then pack your bags and go to China.

Don't tell me stories about China. Chinese is the official language of China, English is ours.
In China, do they write instructions in the main Chinese language or different dialectal variations?

You should be ashamed that you're implying Peace Air to announce flight instructions in 250 Nigerian languages before takeoff. Where is the commonsense in that?

Actually that’s not a bad thing.

English isn’t the only language in the world

They announced in the OFFICIAL language. Is his native language the official language?

If he wants it translated into his native language, he should travel by lorry from his village or he should get an interpreter while flying.

We have 250 languages and English is a middle ground.

Village people got ur back
problem is when u trek 2km to work just to get there and realize that you forgot the office key at home. So you managed to trek back home leaving your heavy bag at the office doorstep...
On getting home, you realized that your house key is in the bag you left at the Office Doorstep... You got upset, angry but had no choice, so you trekked back to the office again, picked up your bag angrily, and trekked your way back home again..
On getting home, you dipped your hand in your bag, only to realize that the office key was in your bag all along...
Now you sit on the floor shouting... "Make una kuku kill me ooohhh village people".

A video of a Nigerian man shouting at a US Airline hostess and reminding her that they are not mates has surfaced online. An Instsgram user who sent it to M4N said the incident happened recently.

In the said video, the elderly man can be heard shouting at the caucasian air hostess and asking her if she thinks they are mate. The cause of the faceoff between the man and the air hostess is unknown.

Small thing they be shouting" I'm I your mate" but still never achieve anything. Make he slap her , I'm sure they will put him in a jail where he will age gracefully.

You sit down there.
Your driver, gateman, houseboy, welder, mechanic, bricklayer, Doctor, Pastor,... all of them call you Sir.
A simple mark of respect.
You now enter plane and one oyibo girl that is less than the age of your daughter will be calling you Jack or James as if two of you are mates.
No "Mister".... If you children and wife are sat there beside you in the plane, shey you will be the FOOL to allow it?
Double standard Nigerians.
If Oyibo is allowed to do it, then you must allow:
your driver, gateman, houseboy, welder, mechanic, bricklayer, Doctor, Pastor,... all of them

what is this one saying

Chinese is the official language of China. No native language is an official language in Nigeria. English is the official language.

Maybe in Nigeria, And like you said in his house, his daughter, his gate man, his house boy, his mechanic, his whatever. over here Everyone is Assumed to be equal, NO preferencial treatments, Old age doesn't give people the right to be unreasonable or inconsiderate.

If he didn't like the way he was Addressed he should fly in his own Jet next time. Aftertall, like you have Asserted, he has his own mechanic and everything else.

I wouldn't mind how i am Addressed as long as it isn't a derogatory way.

All he had to do was correct the " oyibo" woman. rather than flaring up.
Not everyone can take it.
This is why Nigerians are so timid overseas. The moment you allow them bring you down with their Jack and James... then you really can't talk about anything again.
The funny thing about all this is that face to face, Nigerians can't tell whites to stop this disrespect.
But when you set foot in any Nigerian community overseas, the elderly ones there, won't tolerate such from you.
They will insist on you kneeling down, lying down, Oga, Uncle, Egbon, Sir.... As if you are one useless disrespectful somebody that didn't' know how to greet before.

Only in African and maybe some parts of Asian countries is age accorded much respect, Americans and Europeans don't really do so

And if they feel that way, why do they even bother Travelling to "oyibo" man countries?

They should have stayed in their bloody Villages/community.

Well, we all go overseas for something. The hope is that you don't clash with your Europeon/Oyibo hosts.
That they live in developed society does not mean that everything and all their ways of life is good.
Learn what is good there, return and apply it to your own home and make your own country good.
If you see something that is bad, speak out.
Calling an adult by Jack or James is just disrespect. I lived overseas and called all the white elders by Mr/Mrs/Sir/Madam.... They are not my mate. They deserve their respect. Simple. If you look at people, you will know who is elder to you or not.
I came back and continue calling my Nigerian elders, Sir, Ma, ... etc. We can't be operating double standards in life.

For me, I believe anyone saying this at this age is suffering from inferiority complex or perhaps pride.

You are what you are and no one can change, why all this?

Okay, if you say so, If you believe that calling someone Jack or James is disrepectful then I rest my case..

You know? Africans Appear to Criticise Some of what white people do, but they copy most of what white people do in Africa, Most of their Everyday lifestyles, Actions and speeches are based on White man's way of life.

Like when Nigerians say things like, Oh! i Raise my children the biblical way not like the white people, but they put Alot efforts trying to educate their African children in the white man's language, Trying so hard for their children to obtain American And British degrees. And they also claim to live their lives the Godly way, they don't want to live like the "western" or white people. but Not realising Ignorantly that Everything in the so called bible were written by the westerners, The idea of God was brought to Africans by the westerners. Isn't it bizzarely Ironic? smiley
