These are MEN!

His excellency, General Chukwuemeka Odumegwu Ojukwu is an excellent war hero. The exploits of this worthy fighter cannot be erased from world history.

This is the last brave man ever to wear Army uniform in Nigeria.

Before ojukwu fled, 90% of 3rd Armoured commandos was gone with their commando suffering from a psychotic disorder, 98% of second division was wiped out by a little biafran brigade, General murtala Mohammed was on a self imposed exile in London having narrowly escaped death in Abagana, the war stalemate had lingered since 1969 with the Nigerian military making very little progress into biafra enclave preferring to destroy farm lands and shoot down red cross airplanes. Biafra fought a coalition of Britain and Egypt and Soviet union with chad, Cameroon and Niger and the Nigerian tribe giving full support giving full scale support.

Fast forward to 2019 , Nigeria is at war with boko haram insurgents and Nigeria has very little international support. Boko haram is fighting unconventional warfare against the military. There is no Soviet union, Egypt and Britain to support Nigeria but Nigeria has support from chad ,Cameroon and Niger and every Nigerian tribe.
Nigeria military might has been decimated with soldiers coming to social media to weep up sentiments and a good number of soldiers absconding from battlefield.

This man, you are here again with your useless posts. I have told you severally that Igbos are not your mates.

That guy you posted up there was the finest product of your Nigerian army. What he did for his people is beyond your comprehension because you came from a lineage of people known to surrender without firing a single shot.

Leaving Biafra decked in his full military regalia with a final salute from his generals enroute ivory coast was the best closure he could give to Biafrans who after 3 years has come to regard him as a symbol of freedom.

I still shudder to think what abomination the useless Hausa Fulanis would have done to him. The torture would be recorded and forever used to psychologically taunt Igbos.

The fact that the lion was well and alive in Ivory Coast ensured that the Nigeria government under Gowon maintained some level of 'good boy' attitude after the uncivil war.

No Nigerian soldier deserved to capture the lion alive because they were all cowards who were more interested in maiming, raping and displacing civilian poulation than actually facing their foes. grin

The fact that you are pained about his escape till this day give us no small satisfaction.

What is the essence of this crazy thread when weakling Nigerian forces can't defeat just street boys from the Biafran side for three good years counting even with the help of the Great powers. No Victor no vanquish Shame to the Nigerian state hence they NEVER won any war before to declare total victory.

We need the Biafrans to tell us how they caged the multi national forces and numerous ethnic nationalities.

Kiss the only truth from across the Niger Bridge.

My dear at a point there were undeclared cease fire from the Nigerian camp for months. They were tired and disoriented. They could not match their biafran counterparts in warfare. The only thing left in their arsenal was the starving to death of the Biafran population through blockade. People were dying more from starvation than military incursion. The most affected were children. What do you expect Ojukwu to do? Continue the waiting game while his children die off. He knew the game plan was mass genocide so he gallantly took his exit.

If you want to know how useless the Nigerian army is check out the little exercise with militants in the Creek of Niger Delta. Nigerian government had to offer amnesty to end militancy. Bokoharam is still ravaging the northeast till this day. I don't want to talk about the Fulani herdsmen/terrorists. A military that can't secure its populace in the time of peace, tell me is it in the time of war that they will live up to their name? grin

A soldier must never turn his back in war. Ojukwu turned his back.

Ojukwu put his mercedes benz ahead of loyal troops, like Kanu put his dog ahead of Igbos.

For the Igbos with few arms to have waged a war for three years against an established military of a big country like Nigeria, they are a brave people.
No other ethnic group in Nigeria can ever try that let alone do it.

Ojukwu couldn't see children dying and stay on. He left so there will be peace and we will survive. He didn't cause the war but he gave his all to save us.

No Nigerian ruler can do this today. He will prefer everyone else dies.

The coward didn't think of children dying before he started the war? Ojukwu even tried.Nnamdi Kanu the real definition of coward could not even withstand Pyton Dance for a week before he ran 440 to UK via Jerusalem

I know you are ignorant, but Ojukwu didn't start the war. Nigerians started a war against Igbos. Read your history, oh I forgot, they banned history in schools so you will not learn the truth about these things.

The Real Cowards were northern killers who killed their neighbours without provocation for a coup they knew not hidden in about.
