Ibrahim Aminu Zurmi on Friday afternoon went to Awala area of Tudun Wada to visit his mother.On his way back heading to mosque for Jummaat prayer,he was attacked by thugs at Filin Jirgi area who snatched his phone and stabbed him multiple times in his stomach and lap. Laying unconscious in a pool of blood, a commercial bike man raised an alarm and eventually met someone who knew him (neighbor).

His intestines were fusing out of the brutally stabbed stomach.They rushed him to FMC Gusau's Accident and Emergency unit where the hospital attendant refused attending to him until a police report is brought.His neighbor who rescued him fell at the feet of a hospital staff and pleaded for mercy and that was when the wounds were wrapped with bandage which could merely stop the bleeding. He was kept on the bare floor without any medical care.

After approximately two hours, Ibrahim was still laying in a pool of blood at Federal Medical Center until the police report was brought and that was when they gave blood sample and requested for payment before he will be taken to theatre for operation. Before the payment and blood was brought, Ibrahim passed away after approximately five hours of bleeding on the floor.

Thuggery and hospital's incompetence have caused the life of this young man. This is the current situation in Tudun Wada vicinity ( Hayin malam sani area, hira da qwaddi area, nassarawa area, awala area, matazu area, unguwar kara area, filin jirgi area, premier road and it environs).

no no no this matter can't be swept under the carpet their is a law enacted that police report is no longer required. The cmdust be held responsible including the attending staff are theyvsayong they didn't know ..was it not the job of the cmd to ensure his staff were aware of this law ? No way .!!

The most annoying part is the guy was left for 2 hours without any serious medical attention, that was how some stupid staff at uch ibadan told us that my dad doesn't need an emergency attention cuz he could still walk a bit ,many ways to die in Nigeria

If u get money, comot 4 naija asap. Insecurity is now our national emblem. Even the Chief of army staff said we should to spiritual, Gombe or zamfara state government (don't really know which of them now) has contracted alfas in Saudi Arabia with state resources to pray for peace.

Almost had same experience a month ago.. I closed late at work that night. On my way,those guys came and held me tightly with knives in their hands. Initially I was dragging with them that night but later soji myself that they were thieves..omo I just jejely hand over my new mobile phone to them o..that was how I got saved.. God spare me that night cos later after the incident,I was blaming myself for dragging with those guys cos they might have killed or injured me in the process.. Ever since then,have been more careful and God forbid if I encounter them again, omo na to hand over the phone to them o..life no get duplicate. When there is life,I can purchase thousands of phone..pls guys learn from this...
