Wetin concern you with Lagos wahala? Wetin concern you about who be Lagos governor? Go to your Biafran Republic of Drugs and Crime, you can go and make Ambode your governor, he is a criminal just as all of you in your potopoto republic. If Ambode had worked on Jankara Market, would it be like that?
jankara market never flooded last year now. Ambode government tried in reducing floods in his 4 years in power.

This is very unhealthy and could pose a safety hazard.
I would be very ugly if an electric cable fell in the water with all those people in it.
But God forbid that happens.

BTW OP what did you take the photos with?

A Phone or A Camera?

Why are they now crying out. You just said it yourself, the contractor made drainage and the market people decided to build shops on it. Everything is not about government abeg, we are our own problems and solutions.

I am sure there are market leaders in place, let them do the needful. Send those whose shops are on the drainage away once their rent expires, demolish the shops and pay to unclog and clear the drainage. All the market levies they collect can do that.
You nailed it. More sense to you

Drainage was blocked by who? Spirits? Of course it's lagosians who refuse to dispose waste properly that blocked it. We know we have useless leaders yet we still be creating little problems for ourselves.

Flood is a natural thing to cities around coastal areas around the world but the Government and the people need to do more to minimize it.

This is flood in London but trust Nigerians to always say shit.

No one is begging you to come to Lagos, if you want to leave Lagos leave Lagos ASAP

Lagos state government should do something to reduce Lagos population because it benefit the state.

There's a clear difference between flooding and a blocked drainage system. Always read through before commenting
