Kano! my city my state!
up ganduje you may have a questionable character. however in terms of capital project in Nigeria you are the best governor presently.
Even your haters,( Igbos) have acknowledged this!
However, we need more projects in terms of human development, because in the area where i live i am the only one fortune to be a graduate!

Last time I checked, Akwa Ibom had 191MW and plans are on gear to upgrade it to about 681MW if I'm not mistaken. Honestly if states are allowed to generate and distribute their own electricity, power failure in Nigeria will be a thing of the past

10MW is not a giant project. Install ten 1MW wind turbines worth at most $2.2mil each and tada! So I see no reason why they should lie about this. I'm no fan of the present administration but this is good news - if true lol.

Read and understand. I'm talking abt the percentage completion. It's most probably a lie. That's how people were posting fake pictures of mambilla up and down whereas the project has stalled seriously since the coming of this govt.

Sure but states like Taraba will enjoy electricity in excess

Theirs is a owned by the federal gov’t!

In such a situation where states own their self-built power stations, then going by the present derivation formula, all they’re entitled to is 13% of the profit from any federal power station located in their state!

Started under Tinubu with the 277MW ENRON power plant, the first in Nigeria and it's still operational.

Many of such was built during GEJ tenure....but the power act says, when a state generate it's power ,it MUST be transmitted to the NATIONAL GRID...Bukola Saraki did same in Kwara as a governor and was also transmitted to the national grid in Ibadan, at the end of the day Kwara state gained nothing from it because of the power act that doesn't allow state to generate and use power....when the Kano own it done, it would be transmitted to the closest national grid....it's not about GEJ or PMB

Lagos own was not completed because of what happened in Kwara under Bukola Saraki, where the power generated by Kwara state was transmitted to the NATIONAL GRID because of the Power act in the Constitution...it's still working till date, Kwara is not benefitting from it , as it is being transmitted to the national grid in Ibadan...this Kano own will also be transmitted to the national grid.
