I'm a newbie here and I just got my ITA. How early should I apply for medicals and what hospital is better, because IOM doesn't seem to have an online presence and the next available appointment date for Q-Life is 1st of April? My 60 days expires on 20th April. Guru's in the house please help me with this. 1 Like |

Elvis390:The clinic in Abuja have earlier dates than Lagos but it is a little bit more expensive. You can apply for medicals asap. |

you need to make sure you don't have gaps in the date. Make sure all the months are covered. Jan-dec for the 10 years. Elvis390: |

niyogeol: Elvis390: To begin with, Congratulations on your ITA. 1) Do I still need to put the jobs I am claiming for work history under personal history? - YES, there should not be any gap in your last 10 years. 2) I have tried to arrange the personal history in chronological order for 10 years as instructed but it is not turning green. Instead it keeps showing personal activities error when I clicked on the completeness check. - Check if there are any date lap or there are gaps. - Just check generally within the forms, and click next/continue. - You may even change the browser or clear cookies. If all things are right, you'll surely get through it. 3) Is it necessary I put part-time job that happened during my MSc under personal history or just make a claim for them in LOE; as these jobs were running concurrently with my studies? - Regardless of them running concurrently, you should include them under the personal history - This is even more mandatory especially when you're claiming the required points for it. You can ask further questions for clarity should you need to, and surely someone will answer. I hope this has been helpful, and I'll like to thank you for reading. 12 Likes 6 Shares |

For proof of employment, is employment letter and reference letter enough for an employment in 2017 to 2018? Are there other documents required? Kindly help confirm |
Re: Canadian Express Entry/federal Skilled Workers Program - Connect Here Part 9 by WeAreDLucky1s: 9:27pm On Feb 22, 2020 |
emeify1: I am going to advise you based solely on what I did. Q: Is the employment letter and reference letter enough? A: YES! Q: Are there other documents required? A: NO! Q: Can you add other documents to support? A: YES! Q: Should you add other documents to support? A: YES! Do whatever makes you sleep well at night. REASON: You'll have many nights where you'll pray sleep comes quickly because of one thought or the other regarding your submitted application - surely you do not want to have any sleepless night as a result of your negligence. - So, JUST DO IT! Q: When is other documents MANDATORY? A: When you're unable to get the Reference Letter in CIC/IRCC recommended format, or when unable to get it at all. Q: What are other documents you can add? A: ID Card, Payslip/stub, Promotion Letter, Employment Letter, Retirement Letter (if you have ) Note, although you may be tempted to add all your office documents, emails, pictures, dinner party, and employee rosters just to prove your point - Please don't. Just keep your application simple. It is very difficult to get an automatic reject without them asking you to provide more information when/if they need clarity. At the least, you'll be given 7 days. And to buttress it, nothing or no one has been able to prove that ADR or cumbersome application got them PPR faster/slower than usual. So, just keep it simple, despite your search for peace of mind and quality sleep time. I hope this has been helpful, and I'll like to thank you for reading. 17 Likes 2 Shares |

Please i don't understand. Are you saying that there shouldn't be any gap in the last 10years of work experience? For my primary NOC, i worked between 2010- 2012. Secondary NOC between 2016 to date. Between 2012 to 2014= i was schooling so no work experience. So does it mean im not eligible for express entry? WeAreDLucky1s: |

Nkydechik:You are eligible. You will fill out the form just like you have spelt out here. No gaps means you have to include all time periods (even if it's to select "unemployment" ) 3 Likes |

WeAreDLucky1s:Thanks for your response. Regarding stating those part time jobs on personal history, those will still overlap with the duration of the MSc. Again, in some cases, I left and start some jobs in the same month so those might mean some date might overlap as the system doesn't factor day in its algorithm except for month and year. I will try again as you instructed. Thanks once again for your time. |

Hi house, I entered the pool on Friday with 409 score while I rewrite my ielts for better score. However, I got an email that there's an update on my application by Saturday night. I checked but didn't see anything. Should I be worried? |
Re: Canadian Express Entry/federal Skilled Workers Program - Connect Here Part 9 by WeAreDLucky1s: 8:47am On Feb 23, 2020 |
anuz: Q: Should you be worried? A: NO! Try not to always think of the negative in this process, because so many things will want to become negative, so keep the spirit high and positive. Q: Is it normal? A: YES!, at least I got exact same during mine, and I guess it was just a delay, the email should have come earlier, probably hours after your registration/signup. It is a kind of signup/change notification. Q: What next? A: Try to max your IELTS, pray for favorable draws in the coming days/months, aim your CRS at >470s for peace of mind. And, ensure you are open to PNP. I hope this has been helpful, and I'll like to thank you for reading. 14 Likes |

IELTS general- S8 L8.5 R8 W7 provinces to consider- I chose all provincial nomination at time of EE - No primary occupation- NOC code 0711- construction manager (based on my ECA having studied construction management) date qualified for PO- 2019 Oct - based on when i completed my masters degree Job offer in Canada- No work history in the last 10 years - NOC code 2151-Architects from Nov 2014 - Oct 2017 (I worked as an Architect for 3 years ) Please has anyone faced or facing this issue? what did i do wrong? Re: Canadian Express Entry/federal Skilled Workers Program - Connect Here Part 9 by Afra88(m): 12:47pm On Feb 23, 2020 |
dotter8: This is because for your primary NOC is has to be at least 1 year of continuous work or 1,560 hours total (30 hours per week). For your primary NOC experience is less than 1 year ( from Oct 2019 - ) Given that your other NOC 2151 is within the last 10 years, you can use that instead. Hoping you are able to get all needed reference letters and evidence needed. 4 Likes |

You are not to choose your NOC based on your ECA. Verify if the NOC 0711 tallies with your job description and not your job title. You should only choose NOC’s that start with zero if you actually hold a managerial role at work. In addition, POF for a single applicant is not up to 20,000 cad. dotter8: 2 Likes |

House, please after conclusion of ECA by WES Canada, how long does it take to get the hard copy in Nigeria using standard option. Means, I mean number of working days between when sent and when received here. |
