My AOR April 28th I raised a webform recently and wasn’t happy as such cause file has been transferred to Accra VO.I seriously wished for Ottawa.sjnce we know how Accra is with respect to delay. But what choice do we have Beggers can’t be choosers

I received the response below does Eligibilty MET means the same has Eligibility Passed

Thank you for contacting Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC).

You will find below useful information that we hope will help understand the process and current status of your application for permanent residence:

The eligibility review has been met.
The security background verificationhas not been initiated.
The criminal background verificationis currently in progress.
Furthermore, we verified the information you provided and can confirm that your file is currently located at the Canadian Visa Office – Accra, Ghana..

Hang in there... It will def come soon. There is a trending postulation that PPR would drop in September. Besides that, I think there is a lil to be happy for as they v already completed one of the verified areas and others are in progress. I know someone that they are yet to initial his own profile and his AOR is Feb 2019.

Limit and rates as at this morning. Please note that the rates below are indicative of USD

GTB: $500 monthly @390 per $
UBA: $500 monthly @430.91 per $
Stanbic: $500 monthly @420 per $
Zenith: $500 monthly @390 per $
Sterling: $1000 monthly @472 per $

I last used my GTB card on Paypal and directly on a foreign site and it worked perfectly. However, since yesterday both transactions via Paypal and directly on foreign merchant's site refused to go through.

I really doubt if GTB cards did work for anyone on foreign transactions in the last 3 days.

read 1 one and also research about the whole process. That way you would know the different costs. Some spent 75k on ielts while people like me spent 680k grin. Some schools charge less than 20k for transcripts some others charge 50k. So best to learn the process and estimate costs.

No. The limit is $500 so you can't do above $500 in a month

You have passed eligibility and security comes immediately after that.

Criminality is you PCC and should have been passed.

Security and criminality is not an issue provided you are and were not a terrorist or national probs and you also provided valid police reports for all countries you have lived up to 6months in

This is really disheartening, and there's nothing you can do... I cannot begin to imagine what the person is feeling, hope their keeping busy to take the mind off this nonsense. Sometimes we have to be thankful for the little things o

Hello Folhu57,

Yes, you can. Dual intent is acceptable and recognized by IRCC and the VOs may assess both applications by applying discretion. Both are processed independently, which may be a good thing. And yes, there are few who have succeeded.

In fact, now is the right time to apply for SP if you're considering the study route.

All the best

Pls I want to use ICES and want to know if uploading transcript is also necessary or can be omitted since my school can only send it directly to ICES

jW16:

I enjoyed ICES services.

Firstly I sent my transcripts through email directly from the university PG school, which is part of their methods of getting transcripts. It saved me money from courier service.

Secondly I was thinking it would take 20weeks to get my ECA report as that was what was written on their website, but luckily I got it in 12weeks. But it's via courier they send it unlike WES that you can download it.

Just that ICES interface doesn't give enough information on your application like that of WES.

I hope this helps.

Regards.

For someone at 38 with wife and kids, what are the chances of getting through Express Entry successfully and migrating to Canada.

Start from page 1, wealth of information there. Simulate your scores which would determine who the PA will be. Estimate the amount you'll need to process it vis-à-vis your financial situation. Age is not on your side, if your wife is much younger, with masters and years of work experience then you stand a good chance by making her the PA.
Again, start from page 1, all the info you need is there
