Your average 5v2A charger is a 10w charger... There is nothing fast about a 10w charger especially as it concerns a 5000mah battery. Stop arguing on what you don't understand.

I've used 3 phones with 5000mah battery or more,it hardly makes a difference unless you use a 20 or 40watt charger.why do you think phones now comes with 20watts charger.so there us no way you're getting a fast charge on a 5000mah battery with a 10watt charger.

Mr man, i use a Umidigi Power and its 5150mah. It uses an 18w charger and guess what? It still takes about 2.5hrs to charge fully. Don't argue on what you don't understand fully.

Lanrelagboi:
OPPO A9 2020 was announced about 2 weeks ago and has been available in India and Pakistan, and it has now officially landed in the West African country of Nigeria as well, along with a sidekick, the A5 2020.

The OPPO A9 2020 comes with a 6.5-inch waterdrop IPS LCD touchscreen, a quad-core rear camera, a rear fingerprint sensor, stereo speakers, and a big 5000mAh battery. It is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 665 chipset, has 128GB internal storage, and has options of 4GB and 8GB RAM. Only the 8GB RAM variant is being made available in Nigeria.

A closer look at the quad camera shows a 48 MP primary sensor, an 8 MP ultra-wide angle shooter, a 2 MP macro sensor, and a 2 MP depth sensor for portrait mode pictures. Hidden away in the waterdrop notch on the front is a 16 MP selfie shooter.

The A9 2020 is available in Marine Green and Space Purple. The 5000mAh battery is complemented by 10W fast charging and reverse charging so you can use it as a power bank to charge other devices.

OPPO A5 2020

The A5 2020 is a less endowed twin of the A9 2020. It has the same display, same processsor, and the same battery, but is equipped with 3GB RAM + 64GB storage and 4GB RAM + 128GB storage options. It has a quad camera too, but with a downgrade – the main sensor is a 12 MP shooter, instead of the 48MP main sensor on the A9 2020.

Also, the selfie camera is downgraded to 8 MP, instead of 16 MP that obtains on the A9 2020. OPPO A5 2020 is available in Dazzling White and Mirror Black colour options.

Price

The recommended retail price of the A9 2020 8GB RAM variant in Nigeria is ₦89,900, while the prices of the A5 2020 models will be announced at a later date. OPPO A9 2020 and A5 2020 will be available from October 15 and late November 2019 respectively.

Bros 10w cannot go further than 10w. In fact the phone would even take less than 10watts to charge depending on the quality of the cable as well.

SD 665.

Not bad for 4GRAm 128G ROM device but why put a 10W charger for a 5000mAH device
3 hours to charge not too bad though but you can get a 15w charger that's not a problem

Except the op made a typo error, 10w will get that phone full in over 5hrs except the makers are not being sincere with the correct capacity of the battery.

And i'm telling you there's nothing fast abouta 10w charger especially when it concerns any phone with a battery above 2000mah[/quote] Who says 10wt fast charger now for Christ sake.. fast charging technology is new and only few phones have it.. its an inbuilt software that comes with the phone. it doesn't matter what type of charger you use to charge the phone, the fast charging technology will boost the speed of the charger by 10wt. so if you are using a 50w charger, it will boost the speed of the charger by 10wt. and if na fake charger of 20wts it Will boost it by 10wt.. its not the charger itself that is 10wt, its the fast charging technology that is 10wts...and 10w may look small. but if you have used a phone with fast charging technology ( not those fake fast charging software that you do download o, I mean the one that comes with the phone inbuilt n it's not something that can being soon like that in the phone..) it just pops up in you notice the phone charges battery of 5000 faster than other phones with the same battery capacity.. that's fast charging technology... not faster charger.. the charger is what you can touch.. you can't touch a fast charging technology. its a software not an hardware like your usually charger..

Lol 5 hrs you dey lie bro 10w Will get 5000mah battery full in 3 hours, 10w is the average fast charge but not fast enough, 15w or 18w will make it faster that means buying a faster charger if phone supports it
