Luno does not allow people to use card that doesn't belong to them.
You have once registered with Luno and gave them your details.
Someone merely used your luno app to purchase bitcoin.

The solution.
Try to recover your Luno account and sell the bitcoin.

Contact Luno and your bank. I'm pretty sure your bank won't be of help. If theres any one that can trace your money, it's Luno. Even If They can't refund it, they'll block the person once they verify that it wasn't you.

Anyone who did this Is close to you and have access to your ATM card and phone to confirm the otp code sent to your number. Knowing your ATM and pin is not enough to initiate that transaction successfully. Your bank will also send an OTP code to your registered phone number and you'll have to confirm the code. A girl I know wanted to do this to a guy she slept with, and called me in the middle of the night for directions which I declined so she called someone else. Yahoo Boys didn't do this, ask your room mates, plot twist he could be a yahoo boy

sometimes..banks doesn't send OTP code to verify transactions... the Nigerian Banks are culprit to these kinda things...


to the OP.. there was a compromise in your bank transaction verification and someone close to you must have used your account to purchase the bitcoin...what he shd do is to contact luno and know where the bitcoin was sent to..doing that will required that he had registered on the app or he is a legitimate owner of the luno account.. your banks only problem was them not to send an OTP to verify the transaction...

OP should have got Uba's Africard for online transactions - it's not linked to any account, you load money on it directly. You load money, use it up - no-one can defraud you this way.

In this case I'm 100% sure you can't pull this transaction without OTP code verification. The two payment processors Luno uses is Paystack and PayU, they will never let you transact 100k without OTP, in this error of fraud cases who does that. The OP should ask his friends.
