Obiano failed us, no fire service till now.. Many are rendered homeless. Everything around Ochanja plaza were burn to ashes. And no fire service anywhere to quench them. What a terrible country. D whole Anambra state were unable to provide a single fire service to quench a fire outburst. What a State! Nigeria right now is in jeopardy! All our l south eastern eaders are criminals. There was nothing the Fire Department at Awka could have done. If they had mobilized, how could they get to Onitsha when the road is very bad all the way to Nkpor Toll gate?
The blame lies with FD Onitsha. A megacity like Onitsha should have a proactive Fire Department.

Yes, that is why we need to change our constitution and hand over more powers and resource controls to regions or states. this way, citizens will not need to protest in Abuja for lack of electricity and the economy of the states. FG is richer than all the states put together! States are closer to the people, states will have more impacts on the people than FG. States need more control
