As the anomaly who doesn't match any known stereotype, it's so hard giving people a reason to be civilized when being uncivilized pays better.

And where does a person even start from?

For example, how do you tell people disliking someone is not a criminally prosecutable offence with the penalty of jail time? Meaning not liking somebody is not a reason why they should be in jail.

Should they have to be told to begin with?

And when behaviours that SHOULD be criminally prosecutable, are given as the gold standard for acceptable public social interaction, where exactly does that leave the so called "civilized" ones? Not in a good place.
