all the claims efcc have listed do not hold water....all the techniques and various methodology highlighted are obsolete and also if whatever cc or bank information dey collect without evidence of verification of identity it can not be admissible in court. when you accuse someone of attempt that means it goes beyond motive and likely carried out such criminal attack hence if its just the information efcc is describing then its like a student in the class listening to a lecturer.

I totally agree with you, crime does not pay! You also know that not everyone paraded by EFCC are criminals and not all criminals are paraded by EFCC. You may even be a criminal but you are only one when you are caught... if there is no caught then you are a hard-working law-abiding citizen.

The highest they can charge him for is attempted fraud, as they only found details and no evidence of a financial crime committed, which just shows they witch hunted that boy for the Yahoo song he sang...

I hope the hypocrites in red will go after the set of people responsible for the present decay we're witnessing in this country... Bloody hypocrites always attacking young people and leaving the thieving politicians to have a field day.

Why not present all witnesses at once, with substantial evidence & close the case? On point 3, the estimated amount of money said to have been laundered by the clampdown fraudsters is not equivalent to what our politicians in power launder. A bullion van was pictured at a residential bldg of one of the top politicians neither as the being a probe towards that and lastly not to mention those they claimed they caught but paid bailed and still parade the country with escorts... Send dem mail as per sey dem d do mploymnt fr d country

Do you understand the trial process in Nigeria?

The case was merely mentioned all this while. The trial is just starting.

The way it is done is that the prosecution presents and interviews one witness and then the defence cross examines the witness.

After that, another witness is presented. Where have you seen all witnesses presented at once?

You are just looking for a way to justify fraud, that's all.

Go and read Nigeria's Cyber Crime Act 2015. Merely having credit card information that does not belong to you on an electronic device belonging to you is evidence of attempted fraud and identity theft.

He'd just say that the last time he travelled to UK the "real owner" changed it. With a very good lawyer the efcc may just be the one to apologise. After watching better call Saul and power I have realised that the law tends to lean on the side of the accused.

You are comparing the American law system with Nigeria's?

Most people commenting here have not read the Cyber Crime Prohibition and Prevention Act 2015.

Read and inform yourself and you would understand that Naira Marley is in trouble. The good thing (for him) is that EFCC is always open to a plea bargain. He could get a conviction with an option of fine.

you yourself have decided to limit yourself to Nigerian courts... Sheabi you have google? Do the research so you don't believe it's statutory for only A witness to be presented per trial.

oga if u follow the Nigerian method of prosecution how many yahoo boys have been convicted either by bail, fine or imprisonment by the so called cyber crime act. this year alone over 3000 yahoo boys have been arrested based on information found in their laptop , phone and accessories then automatically they guilty for attempted fraud at the end no conviction or even the plead bergain we will not hear....
