What evidence do you have to back up your view ?

division is still far better than staying together with a strange fellows.
East and north are far too different to be in one country.

you just nailed it all.
That's why I love those Ghanaians.. they sometimes bypass reality and pushes their patriotism to extreme irrespective of who they are dealing with..
They are ready to defend their country to the bone marrow, whether they are right or wrong. You can even atrest to that with few of them on nairaland here.

Patriotism goes beyond many things..
The way people bash the president on front page threads..sometimes I avoid comments due to the kind of hate speech been decapitated there.. it's saddening.

There is a huge difference between criticism and hate speech

I also love the igbos for their never say die spirit and their entrepreneurial spirit. Their greatest undoing is the lack of a recognisable unifying leader. The igbos don't like being subservient to a single leader, which is a huge disadvantage in negotiating in politics both nationally and internationally. This is why there is no single demand or goal, but multiple. Besides, who do you negotiate with? Kanu and his group want secession, the politicians wants federal power and influence, the traditional leaders want restructure and resource control.
As had been asked before, why can the fives states come together and solve some pressing problems like road, power, and security? Why can't they organize and create their own Amotekun?

GenBuhari:
Since Abacha's death, the world have tried to pretend that Nigeria is not the regional superpower that we are.

Obama visited many far less powerful African countries and even Ghana that is virtually next door and failed to visit Nigeria.

G7 or G20 and Chinese lead global initiatives are more likely to invite Egypt, Ethiopia, Kenya or SA than Nigeria.

AU shared leadership roles in 2017 and gave Nigeria no significant appointment.

Nigeria has been like a sleeping giant all these years after Abacha (who played our role as regional power in those days when he was intervening in Sierria Leone and Liberia wars ) was poisoned.

The sleeping giant stirs in his sleep and the whole world is taking notice!

Make no mistake about it, our regional superpower status is the real reason the evil white devil globalist are trying to pretend we are insignificant whilst secretly planning to break us up into smaller weaker nations by using groups like Boko Haram and IPOB.

I love what is happening right now!

I tell you!
in ECOWAS even most of Africa Nigeria is truly a giant in terms of population, wealth, trade. We are like a standard water melon in a sea of oranges.
